Big news from the McBee family! Cole’s engaged, Steven’s got a new girlfriend, and filming for Season 3 of McBee Dynasty is officially underway. In this solo episode, Steven shares personal updates, farm news, and a glimpse at what’s coming next for the McBees.

Hey y’all.
Welcome to Meet the McBes again.
Today I’m solo, giving you an update from the farm. Obviously, season 3 is being filmed right now. Details have to be very—uh—I have to be very careful about what I talk about on this podcast. We can’t go too deep into what’s going on. You’ll get to watch that play out next year on season 3 of The McB Dynasty.
But for now, I’ll give you a brief overview of what’s been happening around the farm.
We’re in the thick of harvest, actually finishing up right now. Just got done selling our fall calves. Everything went well. Cattle prices are still high. Um yeah, we’re rocking and rolling around here.
And actually, you’ve probably seen the news that we sold our grain facility here at the industrial park. We’re going to be moving out for a little bit. So this is probably going to be the last podcast from this studio, which isn’t a bad thing.
Cole got his wish. He didn’t like sitting around this table. Maybe at the new podcast studio we’re going to set up, we’ll be in a couple rocking chairs or some recliners. Make Cole feel more comfortable so he feels better on camera and can open up a little bit more.
Speaking of Cole, he’s engaged now. Him and Casey had a great engagement. You’ll get to watch all of that play out on season 3. It was an incredible night at the Elms in Excelsior Springs. Really enjoyed going down there and getting to see it all happen. Such a neat deal and so well deserved for Casey.
It’s been a long time coming—eight years total in their relationship, I think. Obviously not the entire time without ups and downs, but ever since Blair was born, Cole and Casey have really matured on each side. They’ve had such a solid foundation and relationship since Blair has been around.
I could not be more happy for both of them. And Casey is absolutely glowing right now. She is on cloud nine, walking around showing everyone her ring. Cole did a good job picking it out. I think he probably had a little help from my mom going to the jewelry store to see exactly what Casey wanted. But either way, got to give it to Cole—he did good.
It’s going to be so much fun to watch it play back next year. I’m so excited.
And who’s up next in the McB family? I don’t know if it’s Braden or I. I have a new relationship now, and things are going great. Not going to dive too much into that because again, you may get to watch that play out next year.
But things have been great. Ally’s been up here at the farm. We’ve enjoyed every minute together and done some really cool things.
For those of you that say, “Oh, he has a type,” I have not once wavered from that. I’ve sat here on this podcast and every podcast I’ve been on when people drill me down and say, “Do you have a type?” And I say, “Absolutely. Blonde hair, light eyes, into fitness.”
So yeah, I have a type.
Now I’m getting comments—some light-hearted—saying, “Wow, he has a type.” And I’m like, yeah, this is what I’ve been saying for months, years now. It’s not new news. I have a physical type I’m attracted to.
But one of the really cool things about Ally—and you might get to see some of this—is the alignment we have. How similar we are in personality, work ethic, and values beyond physical attraction.
After the first date, candidly, I thought I was friend-zoned. We talked for two hours. I walked out, texted my mom, and said, “I think I’ve got a new business partner, but I don’t think she liked me romantically.”
That just shows how much we aligned outside of physical attraction. And then we found out the chemistry was there too.
Good things to come from this relationship. I’ve enjoyed every second, and my entire family is in love with her too. In fact, I think my family has already said, “Yeah, Steven’s next,” and I don’t disagree.
I don’t want to get ahead of myself—knock on wood—but things are going good. It’s amazing how much peace you learn to value in a relationship once you’ve been through something toxic. This isn’t bashing anyone—it takes two. That’s on me as well.
We’ve talked a lot about emotional maturity and learning from prior relationships. You start to value peace. While it doesn’t have the toxic highs and lows, you realize peace is something you can’t quantify. That’s what we’ve found.
I forgot how good that feels.
So for those saying I’m dating a “copy and paste,” again—I have a type. Can you blame a man? But beyond that, there’s a much deeper connection with Ally.
When she gets on the podcast, talking to her for five minutes, you’ll say, “Oh yeah, this girl’s got it going on.” She’s intelligent and disciplined.
On our first date in Nashville, I’ll admit I’d taken a few shots to loosen up—thanks to Jesse and Braden. I showed up, probably four or five shots deep, and she says, “I stopped drinking two and a half months ago. I’m doing 75 Hard.”
I sat there like, “Uh-oh.”

Everything else around the farm is going well. Harvest yields were solid. Not an easy time—we’re burning it at both ends. Selling our main facility, moving everything out, meat facility is busy.
It’s very difficult to find time to podcast right now, especially during filming season 3. This podcast isn’t an income stream, but we’re doing our best. Ally will be on next week.
This one’s short and sweet. Enjoy the studio—it won’t be here much longer. Let us know what you think the best podcast background would be.
Thanks y’all. Appreciate you tuning in, and we’ll see you next Tuesday.
Hey y’all, if you haven’t had a chance yet to check out our newest sponsor,
Schaefer Outfitters, now is the time because we are coming up on outerwear season
and that is what they do best.
Now, depending where you are, it may still be hot,
and they’ve got great lightweight performance shirts and pearl snaps for exactly that.
And if you’re up north or on the coast,
you know that brisk weather is just around the corner.
And Schaefer Outfitters has the perfect functional layers,
vests, denim shirts, jeans,
their signature coats and jackets.
Whatever you need,
it’s going to fit well,
be comfortable,
and perform like you expect it to.
This is high-quality apparel
from a family-owned, authentic western brand.
Check them out at schaeferoutfitter.com
and use code MCB for 15% off your first order.
We’ve been wearing Schaefer Outfitters
since long before they were our sponsors.
In fact, I’ve had this vest
for about five years now,
and we’re excited to spread the word with our fans.
The feedback that we’ve gotten so far
from folks that have tried them out
is that the clothing was even nicer out of the box
than what they expected from the website and the photos.
So give them a look.
Again, that’s code MCB during checkout
for 15% off
at schaeferoutfitter.com.
’Cause I was feeling it pretty good.
Um, and so I chugged some water there at dinner,
and like I said,
we ended up having a great conversation,
mostly around business
and like-minded work ethics,
for about two hours.
But yeah,
we’ll have to have her in here on the podcast.
Everything else is going well around the farm.
Again, finishing up harvest.
Yields were pretty solid.
I mean,
I wouldn’t say this is an easy time in our life by any means.
I’ve said it over and over,
we’re definitely burning it at both ends.
Trying to make sure we’re prepared
for when my dad goes away.
We’ve got a lot going on here at the farm itself.
Obviously selling our main facility,
having to move everything out of here,
so we’re busting it there.
The meat facility is rocking and rolling.
And it’s a little hard to—
not a little,
it’s very, very, very difficult—
to find time to come in here
and talk on a podcast.
Number one,
I have to be very careful what I say
because we’re in the thick of filming season 3
and I can’t go into too much detail.
But number two,
there’s so much going on in the real world right now,
and this podcast is not an income stream for us.
But we’re going to do our best.
And like I said,
I’m going to have Ally in here on the next one.
Anyways guys,
this one’s going to be short and sweet.
We’ll be back with a little longer episode next week
with Ally on.
Already talked to her.
She’s good to come in here and talk.
Enjoy the scenery,
enjoy the studio,
because it’s not going to be here for much longer.
Maybe one or two more podcasts
and that’s about it
before we hit the road
and have a new setup.
So I’m excited to build a new setup out.
Let us know in the comments
what you think.
What would be the best podcast studio background?
We’re about to start building it
in the fulfillment center,
and that’s where we’re going to be recording
from here on out.
So thanks, y’all.
Appreciate you for tuning in.
And we’ll see you next Tuesday.
