Kacie Talks Beef Tallow + Steven’s BIG McBee Announcement
Kacie Talks Beef Tallow + Steven’s BIG McBee Announcement
Steven and Cole are back in studio and joined by the one and only Kacie, who gives us the inside scoop on her beef tallow product line. What’s in it, why it matters, and the real benefits behind the label. Plus, Steven drops a major announcement that McBee Dynasty fans won’t want to miss. It’s a short but jam-packed episode.

The vanilla is good, too. Actually, I do like the vanilla.
Yeah,
but
most people prefer the lavender.
It seems like the lavender was a big hit.
I mean, it was
We launched it at the Missouri Star Quilt Company birthday bash, and
that goes along.
It went well.
You could use a lot less than that.
Yeah, that’s a lot there.
Hey y’all, welcome to Meet the MC Bees.
Today, we’re in here on a weekend.
We’ve got Casey and Cole in the studio with me.
We actually have Blair.
You can’t see her.
She’s off camera sitting over there in her car seat.
Hi, Blair.
Um, we’re gonna try and keep this short and sweet because we don’t know how long Blair can handle being in the studio.
It’s kind of hot in there.
No babysitter today.
So, we’re gonna try and make this podcast short and sweet, but we’ve got a lot of things to talk about.
So, saddle up and let’s get down and dirty with it.
Blair making sounds.
All right, y’all.
It’s Saturday.
We just finished up our Missouri Star Quilt Company birthday bash.
I would say it was a major success.
What about y’all?
It was
That was awesome.
It was busy week this week.
It was very busy week.
It was a busy week.
So, we started off and it’s funny because it seems like
people have this uh
they see us on TV and they think that we have a team working under us that like handles all of our stuff and we just show up and like the tent set up and the products are all done.
Not quite.
Yeah.
Nope.
Not there yet.
We’re not there yet.
I would love to be there one day, but it is us designing the products, making the products, setting up our booth, trade show tent, um working the trade show tent, and then also being the front face and getting to meet everyone.
Yep.
So, it’s a lot of work.
It is a lot of work.
Casey, what did you spend this week doing uh before the birthday bash?
I was busy every day.
I think I worked till 7:30.
7:30 every single night.
You got your labels in for your new products, which we’re going to talk about today.
The night before the birthday bash.
Yeah.
So, you and Cole were working in your kitchen, whipping whipping up this
Did I say kitchen?
Working in your kitchen.
Sound like Cole there.
Yeah.
Come on now.
He’s together, bud.
Working in your kitchen, whipping up this uh
You’ve got four different products here.
Tallow products.
And it’s not just a simple process, you know, beef tallow.
What we have here is like the cooking beef tallow.
This is just beef fat that’s heated up and then strained to get out the impurities.
And so you’re left with this uh premium quality beef tallow which is made for cooking.
What you’re doing with the skin care line, the baby bomb, the face cream, all of that is called whipped tallow.
And what does that process look like?
It’s a lot of work, but basically you render it the same as that?
Just a lot more times.
Because I try to get the scent out and like all of the impurities.
Yeah.
So I had to render it how many times each?
Oh, I don’t even know.
A lot for each product.
So, four different products.
You guys had to go through five different renderings.
Yeah, I would say at least until the smell was completely gone.
It was like
And I wanted it to be like white.
Yeah.
White and pure.
And so then you take what is beef tallow, heat it up, render it, put it in the fridge, cool it down after you strain it,
and repeat the process.
And then repeat the process five different times.
Then you take a mixer to whip it up and create that creamy texture that you’re used to seeing with any cosmetic or skincare tallow.
Um whereas this has more of like a candle wax texture that has like a smooth creamy texture.
Yep.
And what are the four products that you have?
You kind of see I put my finger in it.
Sorry.
So it’s not as nice as it was, but it’s like a lotion almost when you let me say consistency of a lotion.
Yes.
It’s like
Yeah.
So this is the skin balm.
It’s like the adult moisturizer.
It’s vanilla scented.
And then we have the face cream, which is my favorite.
Let me tell you something about this.
I think this one.
Wait,
no.
The baby butter smells the best.
Don’t you think?
Yes.
The one with lavender is my personal fragrance.
But I’m going to start making this skin.
I like that one
as a lavender option.
The vanilla is good, too.
Actually, I do like the vanilla.
Yeah.
But
most people prefer the lavender.
It seems like the lavender was a big hit.
I mean, it was
we launched it at the Missouri Star Quilt Company birthday bash and
that goes along.
It went well.
You could use a lot less than that.
Yeah, it has a lot there.
That’s what a lot of people that use tallow or whipped tallow as a skin care product, what they don’t understand is how far the jar goes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That’s only 2 oz are 4 oz, but it’ll last a while cuz that what I just got
like that was if you did your whole face with that, that would be like greasy as can be because you had too much.
You literally just put a dab on your fingertip.
Um, and so like a 2 oz jar, I would say, is going to last you 45 to 60 days realistically.
I mean, I guess no, just because
the face cream could last longer than that.
Yeah, because you have to you don’t want to use too much or else you do get left with a greasy um
you know, surface or pores.
And so, if you just use the right amount, you’ll end up getting that perfect texture and what you need for moisturizing your skin.
And the 100% grass-fed beef tallow, um it is the most natural product you can find.
It’s not processed like your normal cosmetic lines are.
That one looks good.
Yeah, there it is.
That’s my favorite.
And you mixed it with uh essential oils, 100% natural essential oils.
So the skin balm has hoba oil, vitamin E oil, rose hip oil, marumaru butter, and
just a little bit.
Look how far it’s gone.
Did you
Did you call it hoba?
Hoba.
Oh, hoba.
I kept calling it Jojoba.
No, the J silent.
I kept telling people you were putting Jojoba oil in it.
Hey y’all.

You look glowing.
Yeah.
It’s supposed to help your skin glow.
Mhm.
Um, it can like improve your like skin texture and like acne scars and stuff.
It has skin tightening ingredients in it.
And then it’s very moisturizing.
Yeah, it’s a good product.
It is.
I mean, and it fits right in line with all the rest of the products that we have going.
So, we just launched this at our booth and now it is available online as well.
By the time this podcast airs, we’ll have posted it on social media, at least a couple of the products, but we have um all four available on our mcbfarmms.com.
And in addition to that, we also have our cooking beef tallow, which is essentially like it’s the same product.
It’s all tallow.
It’s just not rendered and added in with essential oils, obviously, like what you put on your skin care.
So, this tallow you could use as a skincare.
It just has that strange tallow
smell.
Smell.
Yeah, it’s much better on a skin.
It’s kind of weird like cooking with something you put on your skin.
I know.
I did a video with this the other day.
did a video with this the other day and I took a spoonful and I threw it on the pan and then I took a little bit off finger and spread it on my face.
Yeah,
because it’s I mean you can do that.
You can have that now.
That’s
I would much prefer the face cream.
That just looks a lot more appealing.
Yeah.
Put on your face.
No, I agree 100%.
It smells much better, too.
Yeah.
But it’s a these tallow products, if you look at the most googled words in the meat industry over the last 6 months to a year, it’s been tallow and collagen.
Um, and there’s a lot of reasons for that.
They’re such high quality products, all natural products.
And as we move towards this, uh, you know, healthy movement, all natural movement, tallow’s become the face of it, and it fits right in line with what we’ve been doing.
We’ve been using it for years.
We finally got it into our own products, into our own packaging, and uh,
give her your phone.
Yeah, it’s been good.
Cole’s going to go get Blair.
Poor Blair is sitting in here.
It is a sauna in this studio right now.
I bet you it’s 97°.
Um, it’s hot.
Yeah, the long sleeve wasn’t a good idea.
Yeah, man.
It’s hot.
Yeah.
Poor Blair.
She’s being a good girl.
