Galyna Speaks Out: Toxic Love, The Frying Pan Incident, & Masha
This week on Meet the McBees, Steven and Cole welcome Galyna Saltkovska to the studio for an unforgettable conversation. Galyna opens up about her powerful Coming to America story, and how a surprising turn of events led her to become CFO of the McBee empire. No topic is off-limits as Galyna gets real about her toxic relationship with Steve, her unfiltered take on Brooke from Season 1, and how everything changed when Masha entered the picture. Steven puts Galyna in the hot seat to break down The Frying Pan Incident, the drama with Alexis and the bridal shower invite, and asks the biggest question of all: who is Galyna today? Plus, Steven turns to the group (and his followers) with a heartfelt, yet hilarious question and a special request.

I wanted to have somebody, you know, like to trust, to talk to.
I wanted to trust Steve.
I wanted to trust her.
And clearly I was absolutely wrong.
I hit the rock bottom.
You know, I need to start climbing back up.
Hey y’all.
Welcome to Meet the McBees.
Today we have Cole and Galina in the studio.
We’re going to be talking everything season one, season two.
Some of the crashes Galina had, and where Galina is currently at, how she’s doing.
And yeah, we may go into Galina’s background.
I don’t know where this podcast is going to take us,
but it’s going to be a good time.
So saddle up, and let’s get down and dirty with it.
All right, Galina.
All right.
This has been probably the most requested podcast from people.
There have been a lot of questions.
A lot of wondering how the heck does a Russian end up in Gallatin, Missouri,
helping to run a farm and ranch.
So to start with all of this,
I feel like it may be best to clear the air initially,
because you’re very open and honest about season two,
you know, it being a hard season for you.
Yes. Yes. Absolutely. There’s no doubt about it.
You were dealing with the heartbreak of the relationship ending
with my dad and yourself,
and then also one of your good friends stabbing you in the back.
Yeah. I mean, it was one of the toughest years of my life.
I’m not going to lie.
Yeah, and we all knew that behind the scenes.
And for so many people, they don’t understand how close
we have all gotten since you’ve started working here,
since you became truly a family member to us all.
They see what’s on TV.
They see the crashes.
And there were some bad, frustrating moments, no doubt about it.
No, absolutely. One thousand percent.
But you have put in so much work.
You support us.
You are absolutely loyal to a fault to all of us.
And I just don’t think people quite understand
how much you mean to us,
and how much we mean to you.
We are truly family at this point.
That’s the best way to explain it.
And obviously, yes, I admit I had some horrible crash-outs last year.
It was one of the toughest years of my life.
Dealing with a lot.
Not proud of a lot of my moments.
But that’s what families are for.
Everybody goes through rocky moments, right?
Right.
We all have rocky moments.
And that’s when the family understands that very well.
I understand you and I had this conversation.
Yeah.
Going through that and the support —
there is no way anybody in this life
will go through everything without any kind of rookie moments.
This is when family comes in.
We had our arguments and fights and all that stuff,
but at the end of the day, we supported each other no matter what.
We’ve been through thick and thin.
We’re still going through some pretty tough moments together.
And we’re going to figure it out.
For so many people watching this podcast,
I think one of the best ways to really dive into Galina’s backstory
is to tell the story of how you even got to America.
Because for me, that’s one of the greatest stories of resilience.
And I think people would have a newfound respect for you
if they knew what you went through to even get here.
So you were born and raised in Kyrgyzstan, correct?
Yes, I was born and raised in the former Soviet Union, Kyrgyzstan.
Matter of fact, I graduated high school in a fully collapsed country.
So that was its own challenge.
The new economy.
We moved from Kyrgyzstan to Crimea.

And when I finally hit the rock bottom,
I was like, you know what?
I hit the rock bottom.
I need to start climbing back up.
Yeah, it was a rocky climb.
There were definitely some setbacks.
I absolutely admit that.
Looking back, season two was the midst of the climb
out of the dark dungeon that you were in.
And so another question that we have from people —
and from people, I mean myself and Cole.
Myself and Cole.
We’re just going to talk in theory.
Or allegedly.
If you were to hit a frying pan on something
and bend it in half, allegedly,
what the hell was hard enough to bend said frying pan in half?
That’s a great question.
I have no idea, honestly.
Like genuinely.
Would that be like a stove?
I don’t know.
There was nothing broke in the lodge.
Like, no.
Whatever was hit on
had to be a very hard material, like —
Countertop?
I think it would have broke the countertop.
What about car?
Oh God, no.
I don’t think so.
I don’t know.
We almost want to test that out —
buy another frying pan
and just start experimenting
and figure out what it was
that bent that thing in half.
Was it the same time frame too, guys?
So there was a bent frying pan.
You’re telling me — and I’m just maybe —
you brought this up, so I’m going to ask.
So you’re saying there was a car at the house
at the same time
that the frying pan was bent?
No, it was different time.
It was different.
See, that’s why I’m dialing back.
So it couldn’t have been the car.
Yeah.
It would have been inside the house.
An object.
Yep.
Granite countertops were okay.
Thank God I didn’t.
Maybe granite is hard.
I think maybe.
Anybody who sells granite out there —
what do you think about a frying pan?
Would it smash the granite
or fold it?
It was deformed.
It was definitely deformed.
We should frame it.
When we were going to assess the damage
that was done by this mystery person,
there were a couple good things we found.
Number one, Cole found his letterman’s jacket.
I did.
It didn’t button.
Cole couldn’t button the jacket.
And then, in a closet upstairs,
we found Cole’s degree.
Which I had always doubted existed
because I never saw it.
That was honestly as shocking
as seeing the lodge in that condition.
Cole walked out with his degree in one hand
and his letterman’s jacket on.
So let’s get into a few more questions.
Here’s a lighter one.
How are you friends with Alexis,
and how did you get invited to the bridal shower?
Yes.
The initial connection was that
we have the same publicist.
But where we really connected —
Alexis is actually from Missouri.
She’s a farm girl.
No way.
Oh yeah.
And she cannot wait to come here
and join us.
We connected right away.
Being from Missouri, being on a farm —
a lot of connections.
And you know how I am.
I’m a friendly kind of girl.
Galina is no stranger to social gatherings.
She’ll put herself in a room
with a bunch of strangers
and walk out friends with all of them.
Are you dating?
Do you have a new man?
What’s going on in your love life?
It’s definitely not Steve McBee.
We’re going to clear that off the table.
Okay, so that door’s closed?
Oh God, no.
Closed and locked.
I’m not that pathetic.
Closed and locked, y’all.
Are you single as of today?
Yes.
Ready to mingle?
Ready to mingle for sure.
What are you looking for in a man?
Still recovering.
I want to heal.
Not in a rush to get into anything serious.
Just enjoying my life for now.
How do you feel you’ve changed mentally and emotionally
from filming season two to now?
It took a moment.
Rock bottom is very hard to recover from.
I had to build a whole new friendship group.
It’s really one day at a time.
Some days I didn’t even want to get out of bed.
It was heartbreaking.
But you take it day by day.
Find positives.
Make new friends.
New adventures.
I’m grateful for my experiences.
I have an amazing story.
I’m getting there.
How have your DMs been?
I answer all my DMs.
Have you gotten unsolicited dick pics?
Three to four a day.
Three or four a day?!
I’m not kidding.
I’m probably over 200 by now.
Sometimes curiosity gets the best of me.
Sometimes it’s wholesome.
Sometimes — nope.
Dang it, they got me again.
Please, no more.
So Galina, thank you for coming on today.
This has been a long time coming.
You took some heat for season two,
and you’re the first to admit
your mental stability wasn’t at its peak.
But what you see on TV —
it was real.
We’re all better now.
Galina is doing so much better.
Still single, for those wondering.
What’s next for you?
Enjoying life.
Getting healthier.
Focusing on business.
Enjoying family.
A new chapter.
And one last thing —
Galina ordered special wrapping paper last Christmas.
It came late.
She stayed up all night
wrapping every single present.
It showed how much she cares.
How loyal she is.
This is more than business.
This is family.
On a farm, you don’t give up on family.
What did we learn?
Don’t date inside the business.
No more fraternization.
Thank you all for watching.
New episodes of Meet the McBees
drop every Tuesday.
This finale is a banger.
Just stay tuned.
We’ll see y’all next week
right here from the Farm Studio.
