Mike Wolfe, star of American Pickers, is a multi-talented man who just revealed stunning views as a new project began in Tennessee.
The 60-year-old History Channel star posted pictures from his drive to his new business, Two Lane’s Guest House, a holiday rental in Columbia, Tennessee, on Instagram on April 2nd. The public can now make reservations.
In his update, Wolfe wrote:
“My commute from Leiper’s Fork to Columbia, Tennessee on HWY 7 is so beautiful. This road reminds me of my home state of Iowa in certain places.”
Wolfe shared his perspective from behind an antique 1958 Chevrolet Impala steering wheel in the featured image. The view was framed by lush grass, tall trees, and clear blue skies, while the sun shone warmly across the road.
A second photo captured the scenic drive again, this time without showing the car’s interior.
Wolfe continued with a reflective message, writing:
“I’ve always been accused of being somewhere else in my mind. The majority of these two-lane adventures wind up on two-lane roads. I’ve taken numerous trips. It’s how I relax, reassess, and de-stress. No matter where I travel, an old automobile, a dashboard speaker, and that golden hour light will always seem like home.”
Fans quickly filled the comments with praise, not only for the stunning scenery, but also for the nostalgic vintage car.
One person wrote:
“It’s a beautiful drive any time of the year. The middle of the south, Tennessee is breathtaking. There is nowhere else I would live.”
Another fan commented:
“I adore that dash. It brings back memories of traveling with my grandparents in the front seat. I can practically smell the inside. I adore the needle on the gas gauge and speedometer from before the digital era. I have many memories of riding in vehicles like these.”
Another Instagram user joked:
“American Dream SUV.”
And one follower summed it up perfectly, saying:
“It’s therapy to get on these back roads in an old car with the windows down. Just the sound of the engine running, no music. Gorgeous vista, dude.”
Along with his new vacation rental, Wolfe has also been busy with new projects. He recently revealed his cinematic debut in the film Day of Reckoning, as well as an upcoming History Channel series titled History’s Greatest Picks with Mike Wolfe.
