A BELOW Deck Med fan-favorite couple have appeared to secretly SPLIT up after filming the all-new season.

Gael and Nathan, who met as deckhands on Below Deck Mediterranean, have seemingly broken up after filming the season that will premiere tonight on TV screens up and down the country.

Fans have been speculating for weeks that the pair, who share a young baby together might have parted ways after a slew of telltale clues.

The couple who share 9-month-old son Kayden, have not shared a photo together with their baby in weeks.

Gael has posted several solo shots with Kayden, including a snap from Saturday showing them at the Taronga zoo in Australia, but has failed to share any snaps with Nathan.

Not only this, but on social media Gael no longer follows Nathan, and Nathan no longer follows Gael.

It seems there was some drama after filming the new season in Croatia, because on the premiere, the pair are very much together, as seen in the trailer.

Someone on Reddit penned a few weeks ago: “Did Gael and Nathan break up? She’s always posting insta posts with their baby but I never see Nathan anymore… and they don’t follow each other.”

While another Reddit user said last week: “They don’t follow each other and she recently posted on Instagram that she’s excited to enter a next chapter with her little boy, no mention of Nathan.

“She also thanked her best friends for sticking with her through the highs and the lows.”

And a third penned: “They got back together he moved to Australia for her but I think they broke up after he made the post about the Bondi attacks.

“Because they were still posting together at the start of the year. I’m assuming he will stay in Australia now to co parent. It sucks if they were only together during filming last year. I liked them together.”

Gael joined Below Deck Mediterranean during season 9, which aired in 2024.

The Australian native was the only female deckhand working on the yacht the Mustique.

Also working on the boat was Nathan, her fellow yachtie.

Gael told her castmates during the season premiere that she was in a relationship, but by episode 9, she had broken up with her boyfriend and gotten together with Cameron.

Soon over filming wrapped, Gael and Nathan broke up but quickly got back together.

The pair continued a long distance relationship between Australia and Ireland, where Nathan is from.

In April 2025, Gael confirmed that the two were expecting their first child together.

Gael told People in an interview published on the day they revealed their pregnancy: “Honestly, it was a mix of emotions.

“I was excited, a little scared, but mostly just overwhelmed with happiness.

“It felt surreal in the best way, like everything was about to change in the best way possible.”
