It’s not. I just don’t think so. It’s in the wrong environment. It’s on hill slope. It’s a little bit improbable that it would have collected here naturally. Yeah, like there’s also the different kinds of clays we’re seeing here, the different colors that may speak to burning or heat. You see this? That’s burnt wood.

From finding some of the most exciting artifacts to unveiling information suggesting time travel, this is how Ragina confirmed that time travel is real. The Linas and their team have been tirelessly digging at Aladdin’s cave as they uncover some evidence of man-made features. Instead of giving them answers, it just adds to the mystery of Oak Island. However, the team’s exploration continues further. Whether scouring the Money Pit or investigating the unknown areas of the island, everyone is always looking out for what they will discover next.

They have managed to find quite a number of things, but people are always looking for the next thing. Will it be a valuable historical manuscript or treasures like gold and silver left behind by the Knights Templar? Or it might even be something more precious, worth protecting at all costs, even if it means sacrificing human lives. There is just so much mystery around this. The Lina brothers are always up and about searching for the lost treasure.

“We’ve invested a lot of time and energy delineating this tunnel, and I think there’s great anticipation on everyone’s part to try to not only put eyes on it but to see where it may lead.” A new day has started on Oak Island for Rick, Marty Lina, and their team. Instead of diving into new treasure hunting activities, they have to deal with an issue that occurred in the Money Pit area.

The main problem was the water seeping down from the walls, creating a setback for their search efforts. “I do believe that material, whatever was contained within it, has fallen to a far greater depth. To what side and what cardinal direction, we don’t know.” However, everyone was asking, “Where is it coming from?” The recent heavy rain experienced in the Nova Scotia area made things worse, even though it was completely unrelated to natural causes. Something triggered a continuous water flow into the garden shaft at a depth of around 66 feet.

Although only about 10 inches of water fell into the area, which was actually expected to be about 30 feet, something was puzzling the whole team. Could this be caused by the flood? At this point, it didn’t matter whether the water source was connected to the legendary flood tunnels that have puzzled treasure hunters for over two centuries. All in all, the team’s current work was not at a halt.

They are now planning to dig the garden shaft from its 87-foot depth to nearly 100 feet. At that point, they hope to break through a mysterious 7-ton high tunnel heading west toward the baby blob. It is in this tunnel that they have unearthed some significant traces of gold, silver, and other metals between 80 and 120 feet underground about a year ago. They never had to worry about water entering that shaft. This makes them wonder, could it be possible that this is the flood tunnel that was causing their issues?

The team doesn’t stop investigating, mainly because they feel as though they are closer to discovering the treasure. To stop the inflow of water, some representatives from Dumar Contracting Limited use the exploratory holes they’ve drilled to fill the mysterious voids outside the shaft with multi-urethane. This is an industrial-grade compound.

“I think at this point, the only way to exploit this possible clue is to continue to do some drilling that expands when it dries, and by doing that, it seals off the open spaces.” The team’s main aim was to extend the garden shaft to the top of the previously unknown tunnel. However, this would not be easy, given that they had to deal with 700 gallons per hour on that shaft. This just brings about even more issues they must resolve before going on with anything.

The team can only accomplish their goal if they stop the water from intruding into the shaft. The moment they have sealed everything and everything is solid, they can then get down there and continue digging. There is a lot of keen interest in how this will turn out. Roger, one of the team members, is tasked with keeping everyone posted as the team from Dumar continues their work in the garden shaft.

As the team from Dumar continued dealing with the garden shaft, Peter, the archaeologist, and his team, which includes Lindy, Martin, and other members, gathered around a mysterious circular structure that was found near the shoreline in lot 5. For some reason, this mysterious structure had become a central focus for the team’s investigation into the Oak Island secrets. After the storm that caused them problems, there were concerns about its condition, and to make sure that everything was intact, they did a thorough check on it.

Peter thought that they could still work there after their inspection. The team went ahead to remove the cover that protected the circular structure. Even though it was about a mile from the Money Pit area, this feature gave them some important clues that helped them solve some of the island’s mysteries. As they were uncovering a large ancient structure, they spotted what seemed like a handle sticking out from the debris.

In the past few weeks, scientists have managed to connect this structure to Sir William Phips, a 17th-century English politician and privateer. According to legend, Phips buried a valuable Spanish gold and silver stash in the Money Pit in 1687. You could see the excitement on the team members’ faces as they went on to uncover a lead barter token near the outer edge. This was possibly linked to a 14th-century lead cross that was discovered in 2017 at Smith’s Cove.

First impression when we get in the cave is that there’s more to this than I thought. You look around in this cave, and there’s carvings everywhere. It’s really quite amazing. The more discoveries they made, the more the puzzle pieces started fitting together. All they suggested was a complex and interconnected history, one that the team was eager to uncover. Even with the challenges of the storm, the archaeologists still continued their careful work amid the debris.

When they did a scan of the area with magnetometry, they discovered signs of a larger, potentially older structure beneath the surface. Undeterred, the team decided that they would explore deeper into the island’s mysteries. Driven by anticipation, the archaeologists believed that this circular feature could be crucial in solving the Oak Island mystery.

As they continued the investigation on lot 5, a mile from lot 5, the team prepared the boat to go on a new exploration. Marty Lina, who was driven by his strong curiosity, joined others at the Money Pit area. They focused on a mysterious opening called Aladdin’s cave, which was situated about 60 feet southwest of the garden shaft. The excitement was very visible as they waited for a sonar scan of this mysterious space, which extended more than 150 feet into the island.

Marty went on to explain, “We’ve maxed out the settings, so hopefully we can get a really quick scan of the 10-foot void that we’re into.” He was just eager to uncover the secret hidden in Aladdin’s cave. With the help of a high-tech Ecolog 710 sonar device, the team set off on this journey to better understand the cavern structure. Their interest in Aladdin’s cave started about a year ago during one of their core drilling operations that revealed a large space.

The sonar data recorded on the western side suggested that there was possibly a tunnel entrance. Furthermore, the water samples collected from the cavity had traces of wood and precious metals. About a week ago, the team had managed to insert a camera through a new borehole in the cavern center, and through this, they discovered that there were more signs of possible human-made structures.

With the sonar scan in progress, Marty and the team aimed to create a definitive 3D map of Aladdin’s cave. By doing this, they hoped to confirm whether it was truly a man-made feature hiding something valuable. “Probably my biggest concern is for the island overall. We have a couple of sections of the Swamp Road that are still narrow,” as the sonar device slowly slid into the murky waters of Aladdin’s cave. Marty stressed the importance of keeping an open mind about the possibility of multiple treasure spaces on the island.

The sonar, which was made to go through sediment and muddy water, aimed to uncover human-made structures such as shelves, timbers, or chests. With pure excitement in his voice, Marty expressed that they were entering the cavity. The sonar scan started, and as the picture appeared, the team saw an unusual shape. They saw something that seemed like a crescent moon. Marty guided the scan, hoping that he would find signs of a tunnel or entrance.

The sonar images were very clear with straight lines, challenging the idea that they were natural formations. As a result of these findings, the atmosphere on the island filled with anticipation as the team studied the sharp and clear images. There was a distinct edge that grabbed the whole team’s attention, leading them to have even more questions. But the main question in all this was: Could they be getting closer to discovering a significant man-made structure inside Aladdin’s cave?

At this point, the answers to the questions they had lie hidden in the murky mysteries of Oak Island. In the Money Pit area on Oak Island, Rick, Marty, and other team members study the new sonar data. From this data, they see possible evidence of man-made workings about 150 feet deep in Aladdin’s cave. Another thing they noticed was the straight lines in the cave, which Steve noted were a bit too unnatural. When he brought this up, he was backed by Paul.

He thinks that they will see the lines better when Steve puts them in the 3D model. Terry Maton comes up with an idea, saying that the characterization of this opening is going to give them a lot of information as to how people proceeded in the past to dig and work below 106 feet in the Money Pit area.

As the team hears a conversation about this, Rick spots something and tells Paul to rotate the sonar diagram. As Paul rotates it, Terry immediately sees a potential slope in the cave. “We see something that looks square, like a square-headed bolt, which would clearly be a man-made thing. That’s what we’re looking for in Aladdin’s cave. We’re looking for some evidence that human beings were inside it,” which was probably made of sand and another slope, burying whatever might be on the floor.

Marty also sees a pretty square wall along one side and thinks that there was only one explanation for this: There was something man-made in the cave with a treasure deposit. Based on the data that the team has, they are looking at the western part of the cave, which is probably the biggest part. However, the most important thing was still looking for the origin of the cave.

Marty is more concerned about finding a way into the cave, and the experts assure him that if they follow the direction of the slope and see a continuation, there will probably be a way through the cave. At the end of this discussion, the team comes to an agreement that they will put a drill hole in it.

At this point, Rick is very anxious about finding a way into Aladdin’s cave as he tries to figure out whether there’s a possibility that there is actual treasure down there. However, all things at Oak Island are incremental. The experts end up noticing a bit of an echo somewhere in the cave, which suggests that there may be an opening. Therefore, they would drill in the direction of the echo and put a camera down into it as they help to learn something new and then decide how to proceed.

Rick reminds the team that they need to make a proper sound assessment of what this represents and that there are ways to do it, one of them being putting another drill hole down and putting it on a more detailed outward-looking scan. They all agreed to do this, and then Marty called it a day.

The following day, the team eagerly continued with their search for answers by drilling a new borehole, which they gave a code name of L3.5. This one was strategically placed to gather more information from Aladdin’s cave. At the same time, the Dumar representatives worked persistently to stop water from entering the garden shaft.

Over at the interpretive center, Craig Tester, Peter Fornetti, Jack Bigley, and aromatologist Hulligan met with blacksmithing expert Kmen Leg. “If there’s something that is man-made, something underground that might have significant importance to what the island is trying to tell us,” the main focus for them was examining interesting artifacts on lot 5. Over at the circular structure, they had discovered a metal strap and a heavy fastener.

Given that he was an experienced blacksmith, Kman went ahead to closely inspect the artifacts, taking note of their unique features. The metal strap and fastener suggested that they could be part of a chest T RK from the 17th century. This revelation only sparked more curiosity among the team members and eventually it led to connection to Sir William Phips and the rumored Spanish treasure that was buried on Oak Island in 1687.

Emma had wonderfully processed the artifacts with specialized scanning devices, which only revealed the details hidden beneath the corrosion. The scans indicated a clasp from a small chest, which possibly dates back to the 17th century. This aligned with Kman’s expertise. There was another discovery, which was a quickly made nail. This one caught the attention of everyone because of its simple construction, which only indicated a practical purpose.

Carmen and Emma both agreed on a time range, suggesting that it was somewhere between the early 1600s and the 1700s. However, Emma noticed a chemistry consistent with the pre-1800s, but it could easily be from the 1600s. The collaboration of two different fields added credibility to the artifact’s age.

After they were done with their meeting with Kman at the interpretive center, archaeologists Helen Sheldon and Moy McDonald shifted their focus to excavating the mysterious feature on lot 5. With the rainwater successfully removed, their attention shifted to identifying some of the soil changes. This was a crucial part of their investigation as the archaeologists dug into the soil, eagerly searching for clues and making a new and potentially important discovery.

The whole atmosphere was filled with excitement as they carefully examined what they found. Helen thinks that it looks like a barrel strap, and Moy agrees. Moy goes on to point out that there was a nail attached to the strap. The nail pretty much stood out, looking different from regular rine and having a greenish tint. “I would love it to be something in association with the Templars, because 300 years ago, from Knights to rivaling the monarchy and the Vatican for power and influence,” right?

Then, the team recalled their discovery of some pieces of wooden cargo barrels 3 years ago near the Stone Road or ship’s pier in the swamp. These discoveries hinted at a significant operation to transfer cargo from a large sailing vessel to the Money Pit, which was potentially when the swamp acted as an open harbor. Kman was convinced that the barrel pieces were centuries old, adding to their historical importance.

Now the team was wondering about the link between the barrel strap on lot 5 and the previously found barrel pieces. Could this offer more proof that would support the idea of lot 5 playing a role in activities related to the Money Pit? The team’s thoughts gained momentum as they considered the chance that lot 5 was a base for preparations when the Money Pit was being constructed.

With their discovery, Helen and Moy carefully preserved the artifact, planning to take it to the lab for further analysis by Emma. Meanwhile, Jack, who at this point was eager to contribute to the ongoing search, joined Helen and Moy in exploring the area for clues that could reveal additional secrets to the island
