Welcome to the Skinwalker Ranch.

For years, this remote property has been Ground Zero for some of the most bizarre and terrifying experiences ever recorded.
Since decades now, teams of top scientists have been brought here to investigate — but the ranch seems to operate under its own paranormal rules.

And today, today we at Joe’s Show are going to explore some chilling and unexplainable accounts of the strange phenomena that make Skinwalker Ranch one of the most mysterious places on Earth.

Aren’t you curious about what makes the ranch particularly inviting to aliens and other strange creatures?

Well, it’s said that in the late 1800s, this ranch was constructed on land with a dark history.
Long before its construction, the Navajo tribe, who previously lived in the area where the ranch now stands, were forced off their land by the Ute Native American tribe, who captured and sold them into slavery.
Before leaving, the Navajo placed a powerful curse on the land — known as the Skinwalker Curse.

It was decades later that ranch owners began noticing bizarre and unsettling behavior from predatory animals on their property.
After thorough research, they found out about the curse, and by that point, the stories had spread — and the ranch became infamously known as Skinwalker Ranch.

In 1994, Terry and Gwen Sherman bought Skinwalker Ranch, which had been abandoned for several years by then.
They got it for a way below market price and were thrilled about their new 500‑acre dream property where they could let their cattle roam free.

But when things seem too good to be true — that’s because often they are.

The property was overgrown and a bit rundown, and there were some strange things.
Every window had deadbolts, and every door — even those between rooms — had locks on both sides.
There were also huge spikes with massive chains at the front and back doors, suggesting that powerful guard dogs had been there.
But the Shermans shrugged it off, thinking the previous owners were probably paranoid because of the isolated location.

But the strange occurrences started on the moving day itself.

As they were unloading trucks, Terry spotted a huge wolf in the distance, moving toward them in an almost lazy, meandering way.
However, as the wolf came closer, Terry realized it was massive — at least six feet long.
But it didn’t seem aggressive at all, and strangely, none of the family felt scared.
Wagging its tail like a friendly dog, it came right up to them.
The wolf even allowed Terry’s father to pet it gently — before ripping off the head of one of the calves.

None of the gunshots had any effect on the wolf, nor did it react when hit by an axe handle.
Even as Terry shot at it repeatedly, the wolf simply trotted off into the woods — like the bullets and blades were completely useless.

The strangest thing was that, shortly after the wolf had appeared, a foul chemical-like smell spread in the air.

To protect their cattle, Terry and his son tracked the wolf, following its prints into the forest — but the tracks abruptly stopped in a muddy area, with no sign of blood anywhere.
As you can imagine, the family was completely shaken — just after a few hours on the property.

The eeriness of the ranch wasn’t just limited to the uncanny valley effect — but this was only the beginning.

Over the next few days, the family also started to notice their belongings going missing or being shifted to completely different rooms.
In fact, Gwen Sherman initially chalked up the problem to a medical issue rather than something supernatural.
It wasn’t until Terry also had a similar experience that they started to suspect something strange was happening on the property.

Terry had been digging holes for a new fence using a 70‑pound tool.
After taking a break and leaving the tool where he last worked, he returned to find it missing.
He asked his family if anyone had moved it — but Terry wouldn’t find his tool for another week.
A week later, while patrolling the property for wolves, Terry found the tool strung up 70 feet high in a tree — far from where he had been working.

At this point, the whole family was genuinely scared and isolated — and somehow, all the locks on the doors and padlocks on the windows started to make much more sense.

Since the first day, Terry had been noticing strange lights on the property but dismissed them as headlights.
But as the sightings became more frequent, he suspected illegal hunters.
One night, he charged out to confront the trespassers — but as he got closer, the lights retreated silently and then floated up into the sky before disappearing, leaving Terry absolutely bewildered.

On one winter night, Terry set out to find one of his cows.
After he searched the entire property, he eventually headed into the forest where the giant wolf had previously vanished.
At the tree line, he saw cow footprints and felt like his hopes had been restored.
However — just like the wolf — the cow’s footprints suddenly disappeared in the same muddy area.

This same thing happened four more times throughout the winter, with animals wandering off the property and disappearing without a trace.

By the spring of 1995, Terry and his family were living in a state of constant anxiety.
Cattle were disappearing from their pens and reappearing with surgical‑like cuts.
The family was unable to sleep at night, affecting their daily lives.
Terry’s kids were failing in school, and Gwen lost her job — because at night, their house was being visited by beings from other worlds.

As soon as the sun set, the family began seeing strange humanoid entities walking around their property.
These figures had no facial features and seemed to move silently through the darkness.
Sometimes, they would come right up to the windows, placing their hands on the glass and peering inside.
Even with the blinds drawn and deadbolts in place, the family could hear them knocking against the glass windows at night — and communicating in a strange language that didn’t even sound humanlike.

But what if I told you these humanoids weren’t even the most horrifying encounter the family experienced?
While they would be pretty high on the list, the Shermans themselves claimed that what actually terrified them the most were strange blue orbs appearing on the property.

Whenever the blue orb came near, it induced an overwhelming sense of anxiety and terror in the family members.
One night, while Terry was sitting on the porch with his dogs, he saw one of these orbs hovering on his property.
The dogs started growling and barking at the orb, and Terry let them chase it, hoping they might be able to scare it off.
Terry felt a rush of excitement as he saw the orb retreat and the dogs pursue it into the woods.

But his happiness didn’t last long — because moments later, he heard his dogs yelping in distress.
Although Terry wanted to find out what had happened, he himself was terrified and didn’t go after them immediately.

The next day, Terry and his son went out searching for the dogs — but they could never have expected what they found next.
Just after entering the boundary of the woods, they found three piles of ashes.
These ashes were all that remained of their dogs, which had apparently been vaporized by the orb.

This horrifying discovery left the family more terrified and desperate than ever.
