Are outdoor baths the new celebrity trend? American Pickers’ Danielle Colby just gave it a whirl.

Celebrities have begun posting pictures of themselves lounging in baths in recent weeks, and while a silhouette always makes for a lovely photo regardless of the star or the setting, some of the most recent pictures haven’t taken place in conventional indoor restrooms, which has piqued my interest even further.

Indeed, American Pickers actress Danielle Colby recently took an outdoor bath while on vacation, following in the footsteps of M.I.D. Reckoning star Haley Atwell, while producing new episodes of American Pickers, which are presently available on History or Peacock for streaming subscription.

Colby posted pictures of her peaceful outdoor bath on Instagram. She appeared to be sitting on a covered porch made of concrete with privacy screens surrounding it. This seems like the perfect setting if you’re trying to unwind outside without clothes in a rather populated neighborhood.

Although it may be the first time Danielle Colby has liked spending time in nature while in the tub, this isn’t the first time she’s done it. She’s also joining a wide group of celebs who, in recent months, have appeared to love taking pictures in bathtubs.

In the past, Kylie Jenner relished a swim in the open air when visiting Turks and Caicos, and that doesn’t even include the amazing moment Jenner bathed in a rose-petal tub. Kim, her half-sister, gained notoriety when she hesitated to enter an ice bath during an outdoor event. Nevertheless, the reality TV star managed to spend 6 minutes in the tub.

Taking ice baths or bathing with celebrities generally seems to be in vogue. Singer Nickel, many people enjoy taking an ice bath, including Drake. Recently, Ludacris revealed his unique at-home bathing method. Heck, Karen Gillan gained notoriety earlier this year when she bravely hopped into a bathtub for a fully dressed photo shoot.

I believe that the increasing interest in bathtub design is a contributing factor to the rise in popularity of bathtub images. Standing tubs have been more popular than their formerly sunken counterparts during the last 10 years, and they have become more intriguing in terms of size, shape, curve, and color.

The people who have the courage to step outside into the open sky and unwind in a tub surrounded by nature remain, in my opinion, the true masters of the bathtub photo.

The outdoor bath trend may be gaining traction quickly because it’s less expensive than a pool, hot tub, or jacuzzi and still offers the relaxing aspect, as well as Instagram opportunities. Of course, as the NY Times noted earlier this year, thus, I believe it’s time to formally identify this as a trend.
