Ben Robinson Reveals How He’s Getting His “Mojo” Back After His Engagement Ended

After ending his engagement prior to Below Deck Down Under Season 4, chef Ben Robinson was unsure if he was ready to get back on the horse. “After such a grave breakup, I have entered this season wanting all avoidance of romance,” he told producers during the March 16 episode, before joking, “You know that’s going to be difficult for me, being a romantic at heart.”

However, after meeting second stew Jenna Woudberg, Ben was charmed. “Flirting with people is great, and I think she’s a breath of fresh air,” he said of Jenna on the Below Deck Down Under After Show, calling her “mature beyond her years.”

“She’s smart and easy to talk to,” before calling their flirtation “refreshing” and “a good break.”

During the crew night out in Below Deck Down Under Episode 7, Ben and Jenna got closer than ever.

“You’re so sweet, you know that?” Ben told Jenna as they sat together at the table. After taking her picture, he commented, “You’re so beautiful right now.”

“Jenna and I do have chemistry, for sure,” Ben said in a confessional, as cameras showed the pair on the dancefloor. “It’s actually quite refreshing to feel valued by the opposite sex. I’m just getting my mojo back, baby,” he told producers with a smile.

Jenna and Ben previously got cozy over a glass of wine in the galley during the Feb. 16 episode, and Jenna admitted she enjoyed his company.

“I feel like everybody doesn’t understand him, maybe,” Jenna told producers during the episode. “And he’s actually a good person. You just need to filter through all the layers.”
