[Music] Okay, perfect.
Blair, you want to do the intro?
Hey y’all. Welcome to Meet the MC Bees.
Today is the first podcast that we’re actually joined by Miss Blair. Blair, you got the intro covered? Mhm. I know.
We’re in here with Blair, Casey, my mom, and Cole for the first time ever. We’ve been trying to get them in the studio.
We’ve been trying to get Blair in the studio for like 6 months cuz she has so much to say.
>> She’s a busy girl, busy schedule.
>> So, today we’re going to be recapping episodes three and four of the McB dynasty. And we’re also going to be discussing some behind thescenes footage, some behind the scenes details, giving you a little bit of knowledge behind what you’re seeing on these episodes. And in episode three, we have the gender reveal. So, we got to find out whether Cole and Casey were having a boy or a girl.
>> I wonder what it was.
>> I know. I know.
>> Mom, what were your thoughts going into the gender reveal? Did you have any idea what they would be having? Did you have like any sort of inclination?
>> I don’t know if it was just I I thought she was having a girl. And I don’t know if it was just me wanting it so bad.
>> Well, the story of why you have four boys is because you wanted a girl.
>> I did.
>> You wanted a girl so bad and it just was not in the cards.
>> No, it was.
>> Tried four times. tried four times.
>> That’s okay. That’s okay. I I loved having four boys. It was so much fun.
>> You got your girls granddaughters. And we’re going to get Little Miss Summer on a podcast here pretty soon. But for now, we’ve got Blair who just turned seven months as of yesterday.
>> Yeah.
>> Yep. Yesterday. Seven months old.
>> And she is what is she on the percentage?
>> 97.
>> 99 on weight.
>> 99 on weight. She’s a chunk. Yeah, she’s a little chunk.
>> She’s a chunk, but she’s mobile. She’s like I mean, >> she’s proportionate. She’s long. She’s tall.
>> She’ll be crawling anytime.
>> She will.
>> I know. Casey, what has been the best part of motherhood?
>> I mean, all of it is great. There really are no negatives to it, but it’s >> even the late nights.
>> I mean, that’s terrible, but it’s just part of it.
>> Poor Casey is not getting any sleep.
Blair’s the best baby in the world. Like always, >> she’s always in a good mood during the day.
>> Awake. Blair is the best baby.
>> The easiest baby. Like really is. But >> she does not sleep very well. Like to this day. Come here. Calm down.
>> You don’t sleep very well, do you?
>> What was it? I stayed up there for a weekend and by Sunday morning, I was >> exhausted.
>> I was exhausted.
>> I don’t know how you’re doing. I don’t know how Casey does it.
>> I don’t know how Cole’s doing it either.
I’m sure sleep is just Cole’s sleep is just rough.
>> I’m sure I’m sure he’s not getting any sleep.
>> Yep.
>> Cole sleeps.
>> You know, every once in a while she has to I hear like Casey crying >> as I’m already up trying to make her bottle or trying to calm her down.
>> So, going back to episode three, what was running through y’all’s mind as Uncle Jimmy was flying up with the helicopter and we were about to find out what >> Please player was going to be.
Well, we already knew.
>> No, we didn’t on the exit.
>> We did.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> It was a reveal for you guys.
>> It was a reveal for us. So, y’all already knew that it was a girl?
>> Yeah, I did.
>> Were you at the doctor’s appointment?
>> Well, we found out they sent they send you something.
>> Oh, yep.
>> Okay. So, you don’t find >> Well, we did the blood one.
>> Yep.
>> You You won’t know this, but you can find out.
>> We found out early.
>> You can find out really early now.
>> At 10 weeks, you can find out.
>> Oh, okay.
>> And then they did the ultrasound to confirm it. Yeah.
>> Well, >> and Cole, he made sure >> I checked every single there was like probably five ultrasounds. I’m like, will you just triple check? Make sure >> you know.
>> Sure. It’s just a girl.
>> Yeah.
>> Honestly though, I feel like in our family that we probably needed some Not probably, we did need some women in the family to help calm us down a little bit, settle us in.
>> It’s definitely changed the whole dynamic when we’re all together. It’s just we’re all focused on these babies and you you boys are >> you definitely like we’re all seeing your soft side.
>> It’s pretty neat having a girl.
>> It’s pretty special. It’s it’s pretty cool.
>> When I remember in that episode whenever um you know what did they have? They had uh was it like air compressors filled with pink powder is what they shot out of the helicopter.
>> Is that what it was?
>> I think they had a couple Mhm. and they shot him out of the helicopter and it streamed down. That was such a cool moment for all of us.
Really?
>> It was like I got I got chills. I got tears in my eyes. I was going to >> say I think we all kind of shed a tear.
First grandbaby of the family >> and little did we know what little Blair would be.
>> She’s something.
>> We were all scared, nervous, didn’t know what it would be like to have a little baby in the family. And now she’s here and she keeps us all busy and >> very busy.
>> It is.
So, I know that her seven months was yesterday and y’all have been talking about how you have to have them try peanut butter by seven months. Have you done the peanut butter test yet?
>> No, it was actually by six months or it is by seven months. By seven?
>> Yeah.
>> Cole, you want to go sit in a hospital parking lot?
>> That’s what he said today. I tried to give it to >> I’m not going to have her try it in Gallatin. What if something goes wrong?
I’ll freak out. I’m not a doctor. I don’t know. I’ll have to calm down. He said we’ll do it tonight at the house >> during our live.
>> I guess I wanted to do it while I think we should do it when we’re in the city the next time with everybody when we’re close to a hospital from a hospital.
>> Mhm. I agree with that. Let’s do that.
>> Has she tried any like what all has she been eating? Has she eaten any regular food yet?
>> She tried eggs this morning.
>> Does she like them? No.
>> Not a fan of eggs.
>> Nope. She’s had steak.
>> She likes steak.
>> She’s not going to like her papa’s eggs.
>> She loves steak. Yeah, >> she gets to make three meat steaks. She loves them.
>> Yes.
>> You big beef girl.
>> She went crazy.
>> The steaks.
>> She loves chewing on it.
>> Yeah, the juices were like going down her face.
>> Oh, she’s a little cutie. I seen that you guys have been out playing in the pool. You guys have little inflatable pool.
>> Mhm. Now we have three of them.
>> Oh my. Couple for the dogs.
>> No. No. All for her and Blair. Yeah. One for her. Two for Blair.
>> Blair. All right.
Take her.
Back to mom.
>> Oh to grandma.
>> Yeah. And then we had to deal with So during the baby reveal, it got cut short early. We were planning on staying over there celebrating with the family and everyone from the farm.
>> And you get a text from dad.
>> Oh yeah. With the chickens.
>> Yes.
>> Says Masha’s freaking out. They’re on vacation. We had just found out that they were out of country.
>> Mhm.
>> When when everyone thought he was by himself, remember? Because he was going to out of town by himself is what he told you guys. Out of the country.
>> Yeah. Yeah. He said he was going on a little trip. Little did we know that he was with Masha.
>> I mean we should have known.
>> We should should have known. What? How did she know that something happened to the chickens? What cameras?
>> Her she has cameras in there.
>> No, she text me.
>> Oh.
>> Oh.
>> She had text me on the way to the gender reveal and asked if I would go check on her chickens >> and I went and checked on them. I said, “Yeah, they’re all I think they’re all there, but the door was left open.” I didn’t know that someone had propped the door open. Like, I thought it was Steve just left them like that. And then she >> freaked out, >> would started calling me and I was like, “I’m not answering your phone.” >> The baby reveal >> right before while I was setting up. I’m like, “I’m not answering her phone calls.” >> And then she was saying, “Galina killed my chickens.” And then Steve started calling Cole.
>> Yeah, that was I remember we went over there and do you remember facetiming her that night? Oh yeah, we were in the sheet.
>> She knew exactly how many of them there were. She knew the names of all the chickens. She knew what breed of chicken.
>> I remember she was trying to tell us.
She’s like one of the names. I can’t remember Rose like where’s Rose? And she was showing around. She was like sitting there screaming. She’s like where’s Rose? Or whatever it was. And >> she’d tell us there should be like six of the little brown ones with the white tail. And we counted off like three or four. And then Cole would like move the phone back to him and he’d be like, “Oh, there’s the fifth and sixth one.” We’d scare a couple more away.
>> Yeah.
>> Try and get them in front of the camera because there was definitely some missing. Yeah.
>> Oh, there were.
>> I think she lost about half of them.
>> Them foxes that live right there.
>> Oh, yeah. It’s game over with them.
>> Yeah. So, >> well, I heard uh from a source that was with them that she fell to the ground and >> Yeah, they they had to leave early. They booked a plane trip home early because of the chickens.
>> That’s quite something. They did.
>> They love their chickens.
>> It’s weird because Galina and Masha >> are both freaks with chickens.
>> Yes. Both love chickens.
>> Well, here’s the I think the chickens are the deeper meaning of like that’s their connection to dad.
>> Yes.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, still Yeah. D be like, “Hey, Masha, I don’t I didn’t invite her up, but she’s coming up to see the chickens.” And we’ll be like, “Okay.” >> That’s what he’ll say every single day.
She’s got >> Just so you know, Masha’s going to be at the lodge. She She just wanted to come check the chickens.
>> Yeah. Come to visit. She drove 2 hours to look at chickens.
>> But she would.
>> Oh, she would.
>> She loves those chickens. She would do that.
>> I don’t know. It’s crazy. So, we had to cut short the baby reveal to go look at the destruction, the dead chickens. We walked through the lodge.
>> Did we ever find out what that skillet?
>> We don’t know. The frying pan. We still not know. Or the fry. We still don’t know.
>> We don’t know what she hit it on. All I know is it was bent in half and that was a stiff frying pan.
>> I think it was against the cedar pole.
Or not cedar pole, the post.
>> Yes. in his house.
>> Yep. Because I’m telling you, >> there was a missing in it. And that’s the only thing hard enough to bend it like that.
>> If she would have hit it on the granite countertops, the counter tops would have been >> Yeah. Or if she’ like the wall, I would have put a hole >> um She put >> she put stuff in the dishwasher.
>> She put uh food like food in the dishwasher like like whole bags of trash.
>> Cracked eggs in the coffee.
>> She sat on all his cowboy hats. Well, >> stomped on sit on them.
>> Well, I don’t know. They were smashed like this. I don’t know.
>> She stomped on them. He wouldn’t sit.
She just went and sat on >> they were smashed like maybe that’s what she did but they were they were smashed so I don’t >> we’ll never know.
>> Yeah, you don’t really know.
>> Dog food in the washing machine.
>> What else did she do?
>> They didn’t show everything that she had done on TV show Rolexes.
>> We were pulling those days later in the days later out of the trash.
>> Something happened to get into the trash in the garage. So the trash was scattered everywhere.
>> And your dad found his Rolex.
>> Rolex fell out. So we looked through it and there was like four more and a truck keys.
>> Oh my.
>> Yep.
>> That’s like >> a crash out. I was going to say that’s what you call a crash out.
>> That’s a crash out.
>> Was this the same time as the car?
>> This was a different time.
>> This was after the car.
>> Sorry, just happened. I just got to straighten it out.
>> Yeah, there’s there was multiple lodge instances.
>> But that’s just uh >> What else did she do? She bagged up all Amasha’s clothes.
>> Yes. That’s kind of funny though >> cuz Masha’s clothes were in my dad’s closet. So, she bagged up everything.
>> What I think is funny is >> Oh, she she went back and organized the house how she had it. So, like all the decor, >> she moved it all back to how Galina had it cuz Masha had moved it all like It’s so petty, but Masha had moved it all the different places. Galina went back and moved it to how she had it. She did.
>> And Masha had like fresh flowers and stuff and they were all in the trash.
Oh, and your dad’s flower bed. She dug all the plants out.
>> I forgot about that.
>> That’s what I’m saying. They didn’t show hardly anything that she found.
>> There’s not enough time on that.
>> There’s not enough time. That walk through the lodge took us an hour because of how much was missing or gone or jacked up.
>> And Cole and I have went over there and we found >> one thing. I didn’t just randomly put on my Letterman’s jacket. They didn’t show the scene of us joking around about me putting it on how it barely fit. And then they just show me randomly wearing my Letterman’s jacket. Like I just walk around.
>> Like no contest.
>> Why do you have that on?
>> Because he wanted to relive his glory days. We looking for Mosc’s clothes. We found his Letterman’s jacket. We also found >> my diploma. Not my diploma. My college degree.
>> Degree.
>> There you go.
>> Yeah.
>> So, we found Cole’s college degree. He had told us for years that he did actually get his degree from >> North Central Missouri College.
>> It was MCMC.
>> NCMC. Got his associates degree. We always thought that he was lying about it.
>> Somehow in the closet at my dad’s lodge, his degree was sitting in there >> on the shelf.
>> It got mailed right there.
>> Yeah.
>> But why was it sitting in the closet on a shelf?
>> It was upstairs for some reason. Selena probably did that.
>> I don’t know. But we found it.
>> They took everything upstairs and put it all over there.
>> Do you have it at your house now?
>> It framed.
>> I had it somewhere.
>> You probably already lost it.
>> I think I don’t know where >> because all the stuff that Cole had in his >> Well, I finally I won’t lose anything else anymore cuz I was moving so many times. I probably lost it when the moves.
>> And all the stuff that you had in your room at your dad’s, Masha put shoved all in the closet because Cole’s room is now her daughter’s room.
>> That’s right. I forgot.
>> And it’s all pink. It’s all pink.
>> I forgot about that.
>> But all that but all that stuff was gone.
The com all the pink stuff, >> the curtains, everything.
>> It was Yeah, I forgot about that.
>> You know, >> this was a crash out of epic.
>> You know what I think is funny though?
>> But you know, he deserves a little bit.
>> No. Oh, no. It’s funny to me. Oh, yeah.
>> It’s welld deserved.
>> What I thought was funny was whenever Masha is saying that her and Gina, she didn’t know Gina or something. They weren’t friends.
>> Yeah. And then they answered that in episode one. episode one and it goes does a flashback to show July party introducing her to dad as her best friend >> up saying this is my best friend Masha >> yeah episode three >> crazy times >> I would like to tell you this has stopped >> no >> I would like to say that that’s the extent of what you’ll see on season two but >> there is more between the >> and that’s all real I know people are gonna say that was staged or fake or set up >> no it was >> we can verify that that is 100% real.
>> That is >> Yes, >> it’s a common occurrence. I >> think you guys got the uh >> lashing from me afterwards.
I was not happy about you guys leaving the baby to have to go deal with that stuff again.
>> If it if it wasn’t like voluntary, it was dad while he was on a beach somewhere >> y >> saying get over there like got to figure out do damage control.
>> Damage control. Boy, if that hasn’t become common place for us.
>> Wonder what them two are going to have up their up their sleeve next.
>> Them two as in >> dad and masher or Gina and >> No, I guess it’s the three.
>> It’s them three. Really? But >> it’s the love triangle between them three.
>> Is it politically correct to say the two Russians?
>> Yeah.
>> Can we say it?
>> Yeah. Okay. The two >> Russians. I was wondering. Yeah. Sorry.
Be careful.
>> No. Yeah. Two Russians. Yeah. Who knows what they’re going to pull next?
>> Yeah. Who knows what the two Russians are going to pull next? There’s something, man.
>> It’s wild. I have a bunch of people that are like, “Where did he even find two Russians in Kansas City?” >> Like, I know.
>> Well, what you got to do is you got to meet one Russian and you can find the next one.
>> Wait, hang on. I got to We got to bring this up cuz mom just sent a group message yesterday. You went to a nail salon.
>> I did.
>> And what did someone say?
>> I walked in and it was packed and I heard someone say, “Is that the Russian or the ex-wife?” >> There bear.
That was That was fun.
>> The ex-wife. Is that what you said? You turn I’m the ex-wife.
>> I just ignored it. But >> so I’m still dealing with >> Mhm. still dealing with it every day.
>> It’s always fun. Well, >> it’s okay.
>> I think uh I think Blair’s probably >> She’s good. We’ll just cut this podcast short. I think Blair is um >> she’s not too fond of long long form podcast, which is fine.
>> Done that.
>> We’ll go back to y’all’s house, have some dinner, and >> do a live. What else? Let’s catch up on a little more.
>> Can you say bye?
>> Five more minutes. What’s your favorite part of the season so far?
>> Getting I mean obviously just looking back like the gender reveal. I mean like remembering the you know how we felt at that time and and being able to have it captured on film like that.
>> It’s like we have >> memories of that really cool moment. The birth, you know, those are >> there’s a lot of cool moments coming up.
I think season two I think gets like cooler with >> as the season goes on with moments and everything.
>> Yeah, season two started out with a bang. A little bit of uh >> some rough patches to begin with and now now we start the uh the more wholesome parts of the season.
>> Exactly.
>> When’s the weekend?
>> It’s coming up. Is that episode three?
>> I >> No, that’s going to be like six or seven.
>> I Yeah, >> I think we should skip that one.
>> You guys, they don’t have to watch the Ozark episode. So, that’s a rough one.
>> There’s going to be some interesting stuff coming up, but some wholesome stuff, too.
>> Yes, once we get >> a little bit of everything, I think.
>> Yeah, >> it’s a good mix. Well, y’all, we’re going to get back to the house. Thanks for coming into the studio today, guys.
Enjoyed it. Blair, >> we’ll get you back in here. Maybe do a morning podcast whenever Blair’s happy.
