On Wednesday, nearly five months after the accident, Leticia posted a photo of her lifting up her shirt to expose bandages around her chest.

Her face looked puffy and here eyes tired, but she was smiling through it all, even joking in her caption.

“Yesterday was ‘New Tits Tuesday.’ I had an implant ruptured during the wreck and we had to wait till all the broken bons in my chest were healed to do surgery to fix it,” she wrote.

“Can’t google these new puppies.”

In September 2025, Leticia and Mike,61, were struck by another vehicle.

Both suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.

The American Pickers star suffered facial injuries, while Leticia was left with a dislocated jaw that was broken in three places, a broken sternum, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and bruising to her spine.

HEALING TOGETHER
After the accident, Mike opened up to TV Insider about how it helped he and Leticia get closer in their relationship.

He said in part: “We’ve connected in so many different ways, but the accident was so much harder on her because of the level of her injuries.

“She broke her jaw in three places, her rips, her intercostal nerves. She had a partially collapsed lung. It’s funny we were in a little 1958 Porsche and a drunk driver hit us in an Escalade.”

Mike said of her journey to getting healthy again: “I’ve watched her go through her journey with such dignity and strength.”

“When she puts her mind to do something, there is absolutely no one who can stand in her way,” he added.”

“We both love to pick. She has been travelling on the road with me for a long time. She says, ‘Babe, I’m going to start a show called The Pick After The Pick.’ That’s because after I was done filming, she would go in and say, ‘Can I buy this?’ She would help film the van up to behind the scenes. WE make a pretty good team together. I’m so glad you brought her up.”

JUSTICE SERVED
In December 2025, the driver who hit Mike and Leticia was charged with DUI and vehicular assault.

Leticia made an emotional Instagram post at the time, slamming the driver as “violent and dangerous.”

After the crash, which occurred in Columbia, Tennessee, 76-year-old Lerone Heads was charges with two counts of vehicular assault, DUI and failure to yield the right of way, resulting in serious bodily injury.

He was initially released from jail on a $20,000 bond.

The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that he was on probation for domestic assault when the crash occurred.

A law enforcement source confirmed that Lerone was also arrested in October 2025 for a probation violation that stemmed from his arrest in June 2024 for an aggravated domestic assault charge.

He pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of domestic assault and was placed on probation.

Main Street Maury was first to report on the charges.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Leticia shared her thoughts and the challenges she’s faced since the crash.

“It’s been three months and one week since the accident, and I am at 40% of what I used to be,” she said at the time.

“We also had to go to court today, and I got to see the face of the man, if you can call him that, that did this to me.

“It wasn’t our case, but we were there to tell our story, so the judge would revoke his probation.

“The DA and his public defender did an agreement to only revoke half of his probation and give him time served,” she explained.

“Then we have our case in January…If they find him guilty and charge him with our case, then he could get 15 years, which means he would be 91 when he gets out,” Leticia went on to note.

She included part of her victim impact statement, which she read in court, in the post.

“The man who hit us did not just make a terrible mistake,” she wrote.

“He has a documented pattern of violent and dangerous behavior. I understand the limitations of what I can say here, so I will simply not that his record shows serious past offenses that are not minor missteps.

“They are warnings, clear warnings, about who he is when he’s given freedom and another chance.

“I am beyond disappointed that I am standing her because of him, but more than that, I am deeply let down by a system that allowed this to happen at all.

“Had he been held accountable in the past, had he not been given repeated opportunities to harm again, I would not be in pain every day.

“I am not asking the court for vengence, I am asking for protection,” she begged.
