BREAKING: Undiscovered Hatch Found on Oak Island!

Gary discovers evidence [music] of secret tunnel. Could this secret tunnel bring answers to the many unanswered questions? [music] Stay tuned to find out more. Gary Drayton, an expert in metal detecting, and the [music] rest of the team, including geocscientist Dr. Ian Spooner and archaeologist Dr. Aaron Taylor and Miriam Amarald, [music] investigate stone walkways and a possible cellar feature near the swamp’s eastern boundary. In a recent episode of The Curse of Oak Island, Gary and David unearth a signal embedded in a wall throughout the course of their [music] inquiry, which ultimately leads to the discovery of a large caster wheel buried [music] underneath. Gary hypothesizes that this wheel may have been utilized on Oak Island during a tunneling operation, [music] adding to the prior discoveries of tunneling gear on the island. As Gary Gary discovers evidence of secret tunnel, the finding begs the question of who first deposited the item and who found it subsequently. The initial depositors or [music] the later searchers. In light of this discovery, the group intends to conduct additional research on the caster wheel. Gary Drayton, an expert [music] in metal detecting, and the rest of the team are looking for stone walkways and a suspected subterranean [music] feature close to the eastern boundary of the marsh. The team also includes geocscientist [music] Dr. Ian Spooner and archaeologist Dr.
Aaron Taylor and Miriam Ammerald.
[music] Gary and David make a discovery in a wall. As they are excavating, and they call Aaron over to help [music] them remove the signal. They find a large caster wheel that Gary suspects may have been used in a tunneling operation on Oak Island. This discovery adds [music] to the evidence of prior tunneling tools that were found on the island, which raises the question of whether or not it was left [music] by depositors or searchers. This discovery has piqued the interest of the group, and they want to store it [music] away for further examination.
While metal detecting treasure, hunter Gary Drayton [music] found not one but two unique treasures. His first find was made in the general [music] vicinity of Oak Island’s shoreline. A button from a military officer’s uniform from [music] the 17th century was discovered by Drayton and his crew. However, it is not known which military it may have belonged [music] to. On the other hand, there might be evidence that this military was the one responsible for burying some of the secrets surrounding the island. The second discovery made that [music] day was made by Drayton and his team in a forest setting that was not too far [music] away. They discovered a little coin buried in the dirt which they believed to be another Maraved from the [music] 17th century just like the one that was discovered in the conclusion of the previous season.
On the other hand, the size of this coin seemed [music] to be much less than that of the others, probably two meades rather [music] than eight. These extraordinary discovery, despite their modest size, have the potential to [music] lead to a far larger treasure that is concealed someplace on Oak Island. While treasure hunting along the shoreline of Oak Island with his metal detector treasure hunter, Gary Drayton discovered another double discovery.
This time, Drayton and his crew working with [music] the leader of the Oak Island team, Rick Lgina, discovered two King Charles II Britannia coins from the 17th century hidden beneath the rocks and [music] pyite that were strewn across the shore. The year 1771 was plainly printed on the surface of one of the [music] pieces that were discovered, lending credence to the theory that the currency dates back [music] several centuries. Where did these set of coins from the 17th century come from? Could [music] those who were in a hurry and looking for buried wealth have accidentally dropped them? Or, and [music] here is where the hope comes in, could they have been deposited there by a wealthy gang that was out on Oak Island trying to hide their own treasure? Without a doubt, the Oak Island crew would be required [music] to do additional research. The digging of the money hole on Oak Island is generally recognized as marking the beginning of the history of treasure hunting on that island. It is thought that the buried treasure can be found [music] in the pit which is also referred to as the money pit. The pit is a hole that was created by [music] man.
The legend has it that a group of youths around the age of 13 or 14 were [music] exploring the island in 1795 when they came across a depression in the earth.
They started digging [music] because they thought it was a man-made pit. And as they did so, they uncovered layers of logs and other items. However, their attempts were foiled by a mystery torrent that [music] filled the pit with water, making it impossible for them to continue their exploration.
The news of the discovery swiftly spread, and soon after that, treasure hunters from all over the world began flocking to Oak Island in the hopes of [music] finding the riches. In 1803, a group of investors known as the Enslow Company undertook the first organized excavation of the Money Pit. The money pit [music] was named after them. The party was unsuccessful in its attempts to reach the bottom of the pit, and as a result, the excavations [music] that they were doing had to be stopped. Over the course of the next century, a number of different groups [music] made attempts to figure out the island’s mysteries. But they were all unsuccessful due to the numerous challenges they faced. The most [music] important of these was the flooding of the pit, which made further excavation difficult and risky. This was the most crucial of these factors. The pit was also rigged with a variety of mechanisms that if activated would cause the pit to fill with water, so preventing anyone [music] from finding the riches. The digs continued despite these obstacles and in 1861 the Oak Island Treasure Company was established. This particular squad was able to [music] dig down to a depth of 90 ft before their efforts were once again thwarted by the flooding that was occurring in the pit. The Oak Island Treasure Company went bankrupt [music] in 1909, which led to the excavations being stopped for good at that point.
Since then, a number of other groups have made efforts to discover the treasure that is buried on Oak Island.
But to this day, [music] the mystery of the Money Pit has not been solved. The finding of the Money Pit and the first excavations on the island each played a vital part in the development of the island’s [music] history, as well as the continued quest for riches on the island. This is true despite the difficulties [music] and obstacles that were encountered. The fascination in the mystery surrounding [music] Oak Island has not diminished despite the numerous obstacles and failures [music] that have been met over the course of the centuries long search for riches on Oak Island. In recent years, [music] a number of fresh organizations have embarked on the journey to solve the mysteries surrounding the island. An organization that is committed to preserving the history of the island as well as promoting [music] tourism was established in 2010 under the name Oak Island Tourism Society. This is one of the most noteworthy changes [music] that has occurred in recent years. The Oak Island Archaeological Society has not only been actively involved in a number of archaeological digs on the island, but it has also been essential in increasing [music] people’s awareness of Oak Island and the treasure search.
Subscribe now for more shocking revelations and new discoveries on the Oak Island. It seems likely that [music] the majority of the treasure will go to the Lena Brothers. The first piece of information [music] is that the Lega Brothers current search of Oak Island is covered under the treasure trove license. This is a government [music] act that stipulates that licensed treasure finders can lawfully keep 90% of whatever wealth they find. Marty elaborates by saying that if a substantial treasure were to be discovered on Oak Island, it is highly likely that several [music] claimants would emerge and make cases for their legitimate ownership of the trove’s contents. These claimments [music] might base their claims on some aspect relating to their doicile, their family [music] genealogy, or something else. It can be assumed that a great number of individuals will make an effort to acquire at least some of the legendary [music] riches. But it is impossible to predict who, if anyone, will be successful. At the end of [music] the day, at least two receivers are obvious.
The Lega brothers and the government would both have justifiable claims over at least some portion of the treasure.
On the other hand, [music] only time will tell if such a scenario will ever occur on the curse of Oak Island. Did he really exist or was he just a figment of our ancestors imagination?
Let’s take a look at what these scientists found out about King Arthur.
Some could say that the reason the legend of King Arthur never seemed [music] to fade away in the sands of time was because he could be seen as a sort of messianic figure back in those days. Standing [music] as a figure that not only set a code of conduct for the men around him, he also protected his people from the Saxon enemies of that time. From the moment he retrieved [music] his father’s sword from that mythical stone as a young boy to prove that he’s the right king of Britain, the many battles he had to fight along the way to establish his kingdom or even when he eventually fell in the battle of Camelin, King Arthur’s reign was one that was known for the prosperity.
Thanks to the likes of Merlin who had protected him from the moment he was born. It is in this bleak epoch, according to legend, that 15-year-old Arthur steps onto the scene and becomes king of the Britain. Magical powers and his teacher, the wizard Merlin, make it possible. And his knights of the round table, representing [music] equality, unity, honor, courage, and chivalry.
Arthur’s reign has left in a mark that can’t be erased [music] on the fabric of British history and culture. Despite losing sight of whether this reign was a matter of fact or fiction, that said, despite this [music] code of conduct that this king and his knights followed, Arthur’s reign did have its fair share of problems. For one, there was the heartbreak he must have endured due to the affair between his queen and Sir Lancelot, one of his most trusted knights. King Arthur reportedly went to war [music] against the Saxons 12 times.
In the battle against the Saxons, it is he who determines the outcome.
>> As such, you can imagine the toll the battles against the Saxons took on the fabled king. Fortunately, he was able to use Excalibur to smash through the Saxon enemy. One battle that [music] stands out the most is the Battle of Ben Hill where the Saxons were defeated, thereby establishing a long period of peace for King Arthur and [music] his people. As bad as battling the Saxons may sound, he also had to deal with other problems coming from some of his [music] other family members. Morrid, Arthur’s son with his own halfsister, Morgos, was looking to seize the throne despite not even being the rightful heir. This ended up causing [music] the Battle of Camelan, a civil war that terribly depleted the kingdom’s forces and eventually caused the death of both the legendary king and his [music] illegitimate son.
Following his demise, time and lack of proof of the existence [music] of King Arthur has rendered his time as the head of Britain as only a myth. Even Excalibur [music] cannot be used as proof that King Arthur existed because it was flung into a nearby lake. So, what evidence is there of the great king? Some say that the excavation of the Tintageel Castle in Cornwall, England, has produced [music] some conclusive proof that the fabled king actually existed. Long considered to be a place of interest, the recent excavation of Tintageel Castle has [music] produced some relics and artifacts that can be traced to the time period in which King Arthur lived. One of the most convincing [music] artifacts that was picked up during this excavation was a stone tablet that had the name Artonu [music] inscribed on it.
Although it may not spell out Arthur as we’d like, the similarity cannot be ignored. Could this stone have [music] been created for the king or on his behalf? The thought of it has excited everybody that’s been monitoring the situation. Apart from the implication that this stone might be linked to the mythical king, the other findings in the area have also been of interest to archaeologists and others because it provided proof that the castle was more than a military outpost. It provided proof that it was possible that [music] this place was a center of trade and culture. At least that is what the Mediterranean pottery and fine glass and table wear suggests to those who found them as these were items that represented status and wealth. Of course, there are doubters who claim that individually these artifacts and findings cannot be used as [music] proof that the king existed. And the only thing is is the name is similar, but why would you but it’s it begins with an A. I think that’s that’s as far as it goes. So no for me of actually being evidence.
>> No.
>> Okay. Well, let’s move on.
>> But we also [music] cannot ignore it altogether. The findings do paint a better picture for those who are looking to learn the truth about King Arthur. As such, those who are interested in the truth have headed over to Glastonbury Abbey to investigate [music] the site. Already considered to be hallowed ground because it is considered to be one of England’s most important ancient religious sites. Glastonbury Abbey may have actually become that much more important because some monks have asserted that this may be the final resting place of King Arthur and Queen Gwy.
Apparently, this discovery was made by monks following the destruction of Glastonbury Abbey, which was caused by a devastating fire that occurred almost 1,000 years ago. As they attempted [music] to rebuild it, the monks came across an ancient burial site. They came across a grave located between two ancient pyramids that were hidden somewhere in the abbey’s [music] cemetery. If that wasn’t convincing enough, the grave had an inscription which went, “Here lies [music] buried the renowned King Arthur and Gwyavir, his second wife, in the aisle of Avalon.” This is massively significant because the aisle of Avalon [music] has always been associated with the legend of Arthur because this is where many believed that the fabled king was taken to so that he could heal from his [music] injuries in his final battle.
Intrigued, the monks continued searching around until they came across a wooden coffin made from a hollowedout log.
Incredibly, the coffin held the bodies of a large man that fit the description of the warrior king and a smaller woman that could be associated with the late queen. As you can imagine, the English society at large was filled with excitement as they [music] wondered if this ancient religious site was truly the burial ground of the mythical king.
Even those from beyond the shores of England were fascinated by such a find as monarchs from different parts of Europe came to take a look at what could be the final resting place of the fallen king and his queen. Interestingly enough, Glanstonberry has often been believed to be the fable is of Avalon, where magic was intertwined with everyday life, where the surreal was reality. Maybe one day we will be able to fully confirm whether or not this place was truly the kingdom that was ruled by the great King Arthur. However, Glastonbury may have to contend with Somerset as the epicenter of the fabled king’s time. As beautiful and picturesque the little county off the southwest of England is, there is no doubt that the reputation of the place was amplified by the fact that [music] Cadbury Castle and Nron Age Hill Fort stands there.
That is because many believe it to be the ancient fort of the fabled king. In fact, they believe it to be the mythical Camelot, the court in which the king led his people. This is because the fort’s geographical location is eerily similar to where Camelot was said to be. Its [music] proximity to the coasts and long-forgotten trade routes tells us that this would be the perfect location for a king looking to rule his domain like King Arthur. Furthermore, [music] its impenetrable fortification also made it the perfect place for a king and the people he would have wanted to protect during a siege. Of course, this may have been any king, but [music] the description of the grandeur of the fort, the strategic advantage it had due to its position and the marvels [music] found within the site could make it easy to convince someone that the fort and Camelot were one and the same. As if that isn’t convincing enough, the excavation of the ancient site also added more fuel to the fire of this assertion. This is because this led to discoveries of relics and artifacts [music] along with what was left of the magnificent halls that proved that the [music] hill fort was a thriving settlement during the time King Arthur was said to have ruled over England.
However, none of these proofs [music] were more convincing than the signs and symbols associated with Arththeran legends that [music] were found all over the fort. Despite their condition, they told us that there must have been a [music] link between the court and King Arthur. They could even have been markings made to pay homage to [music] the king himself. Another sign that this may have been the fort from which King Arthur ruled his kingdom was the discovery of defensive structures [music] and the damage caused due to battles found all over the fort. As the fort was traced back to [music] the late king’s time, one can say that they were attributed to the king who was trying to protect himself and his people from their Saxon enemies and all others who wanted to destroy Britain.
Furthermore, [music] the structure of the rest of the fort was consistent with the description of where the king and his knights convened to determine the safety and the future of their monarch’s kingdom. In fact, [music] some of the descriptions of the ancient fort bear some resemblance to the description of the halls that hosted the fabled round [music] table. Regardless of the evidence that we may see before us that proves that Cadbury Castle may be Camelot, there are many other places in England and perhaps the entire United Kingdom that have enough persuasive evidence [music] to assert that they instead of the Hill Fort are the true Camelot. Nonetheless, [music] nobody can ignore that Cadbury Castle is among the most persuasive of them all, especially after the excavation [music] of the site. These artifacts were able to provide more context to the proposed history of the fabled king. Maybe one day we would be able to determine if this [music] was indeed Camelot.
Finally, we take a look at the Winchester round table that is in [music] full display in the great hall of Winchester Castle. long considered to be an artifact of interest to many.
There are those that believe this to [music] be the fabled round table that King Arthur and his knight ruled from because it had several inscriptions which spelt out the name of the fallen king and his knights painted on its edge. This has led many to wonder [music] if this was truly the actual table that the knight ruled from, especially when you consider the age of the artifact. Upon analyzing the age of [music] the wood used to carve the table, the table is believed to date back to the 13th century. Although this may be too late [music] when you consider the fact that King Arthur was said to exist in the sixth century, it makes one consider that this may have been a reconstruction of the legendary artifact. With any luck, one day we may be able to confirm if this was where the king ruled his people. [music] From ancient burial sites to the supposed discovery of the legendary round [music] table, these are some of the amazing discoveries found in respect of the legendary King Arthur.
