A woman with curly blonde hair, wearing a gray hat and cat-eye glasses, speaks to the camera with her hands clasped together.

Taking to social media to mark her 50th birthday, the American Pickers star and burlesque dancer talked about “transitions” in her life.

“Ok, here we go! Big transitions in the works,” Danielle captioned a video she shared on her Instagram page.

Three minutes into the video, Danielle said, “I just found out that American Pickers is done!”

“I am at this epic crossroads…Without the financial support of American Pickers, its going to be a wild one.

“So now I just kind of have to mentally shift and figure out how to do this, completely DIY.”

Danielle just announced she opened up her own museum called Ecdysiast Arts Museum.

She has now said that she needs to pour her all into the museum to make it a success because Pickers is officially over.

She also promised to take fans along with her as she embarks on the new journey.

“You can come with me on this process as a former reality TV star just trying to find her f**king way in the world,” she said.

“Because what do I do now? I’ve got the plan. We’re moving forward.

“But how do I make money with a museum, that’s the question… Wish me luck,” she concluded.

Despite Danielle’s claims, a separate source insisted it’s “not true” that the show has been canceled.

“They are not shooting American Pickers right now because they have a season in the can, plus a new spin-off series,” the source claimed.

A third person wrote, “So excited to see this next adventure! I’m always around to help out however I can!!! Happiest of birthdays to you!!!!!”

While a fourth said, “Life is doing the most!!!! All the love and can’t wait to see the magic you’ll be doing in the future.”

As well as recently opening a museum, Danielle is a burlesque dancer under the stage name Dannie Diesel.

Mike Wolfe closed his Antique Archaeology store in Nashville in April 2025 to spend more time with his family in Iowa and focus on his other projects.

The reported cancelation of Pickers comes as Mike focuses on his new History Channel show coming out in 2026.

The show is titled History’s Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe.
