Danielle Colby, an American Pickers fan, calls for her own show while wearing only some feathers and offering some wise counsel.

Although Danielle Colby is well known for her work on reality TV, her daily passion is burlesque. Because of this, the American Pickers star’s recent months have not been easy as she dealt with an ailment and temporarily had to step back from the spotlight. But now that she’s conveyed some advice to fans, she’s thrown on some feathers and nothing but feathers.

They had some ideas of their own. Danielle Colby offered wise counsel in a recent post: “Avoid looking back unless you intend to go in that direction.”

The statement was obviously a little tongue-in-cheek, given it was part of a post about not looking behind, in which she included a literal photo of her behind. But it’s also a bit of wise counsel for anyone, especially for someone who, like the reality star, has recently faced hardships.

It’s always better to move forward, but occasionally, even in the most unexpected of times, I believe a reminder is beneficial. Naturally, this post was published soon after Colby disclosed that she had had a hysterectomy, which she described as terrifying. Numerous health problems ensued, and it wasn’t until lately that she was able to resume her favorite activities, such as burlesque training.

She has stated before that she had a hysterectomy in October, so it has truly been a lengthy trip. That’s more than six months spent well recovering, and maybe posting an occasional midnight snack bathtub post.

After she shared her wisdom about never looking back, fans had a lot to say. While some found solace in her remarks and others found her to be beautiful, a fan expressed their want to witness more of the History Channel star’s passion on the small screen with her own show.

Really, it’s not a horrible idea. Danielle Colby is a strong supporter of the burlesque scene and has previously mentioned stripping history in her Instagram bio. This seems like the ideal title for a History Channel series about the history of burlesque.

She is already well known from the network’s hit program American Pickers. Given that the show’s ratings are making headlines and that the cast has changed since Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz got into a fight, I wouldn’t mind seeing the star in a new role on the network—one that she’s obviously more enthusiastic about.

It appears that many would follow the star wherever she goes on her path, regardless of what she decides to do next. Looks like Colby’s guidance on her road to recovery was appreciated by a few more followers.

Others made direct comments in response to the celebrity’s wise counsel, saying things like, “There’s a joke about a comeback somewhere. It’s a start. A healthy start too. I’m going whichever way you are.”

We will probably see more blogs similar to this one in the future as Danielle Colby pushes herself back into the spotlight as a stage performer. Hopefully, these posts will include even more bite-sized pieces of wisdom.
