Moses's Tomb EXPEDITION Uncovers A Haunting Message
Carved through an extinct volcano by the Nazis has been rediscovered after 80 years. This is proof that the Nazi map is real, but what lies out of our camera’s field of view?
Oh, there is a tunnel! Look at that. Wait, what is that? It’s a… what? It’s a mine cart!
It’s a mine cart from the discovery of a mysterious structure that lies deep within the seas, to the various historical and religious sites that we must explore. Here’s how this new Expedition Unknown discovery may reveal the final resting place of Moses and the secrets that lie within.
Alright, guys, it looks like we’re tagging along with Josh Gates as he sets out on another historical quest. This time, we shall be following him as he does all he can to find the final resting place of Moses, one of the most historically and religiously significant characters of all time.
Turns out that we have been searching for the actual final resting places for what may seem to be an eternity. For many, there are strong beliefs that the final resting place of one of the fathers of Israel must lie in Mount Nebo, an elevated ridge that is located in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
As fascinating as this may be, there are others who point to a location that lies deep within the Sea of Galilee to be the final resting place of Moses. This is mostly due to the mysterious structure known as Miriam’s Well.
Join Josh as he tries to learn the terrifying secrets that lay buried in this legendary structure. That way, we may discover the truth behind the mystery of the final resting ground of Moses.
As we alluded to, Moses may have spent his final moments alive on this planet somewhere within the valleys of Mount Nebo. That said, this assertion can only be taken so seriously, as it is something that has been passed down traditionally from generation to generation.
If it turns out to be true, this could be one of the most significant discoveries of modern history, if it is actually made. Considering this, there has been a recent exploration of the Sea of Galilee that has given rise to mixed reactions in the archaeological and spiritual world.
Thanks to this, we have become aware that there is this strange rock that lies buried somewhere within this sea. This discovery gave rise to the speculation that this structure could be the legendary Miriam’s Well that we mentioned earlier on.
For those who do not know, Miriam is the elder sister of Moses. Going through the pages of any Abrahamic Scripture that you may lay your hands on, one would find that Miriam played a significant role in Moses’ life from the day he was born.
If we remember our Bible study, for example, our minds may be drawn to the fact that Moses was born in a time of turmoil for the Israelite slaves, who were just trying to survive the tyrannical rule of the Pharaoh at that time. This Pharaoh gave a command that all male Hebrew children should be thrown into the River Nile. Grim, I know.
Due to this, Yocheved, Moses’ mother, was forced to put him in a basket before helping the little baby escape in the river. Since then, water seemed to play a role in the siblings’ lives. Not only was Miriam the one who followed her brother down the river to ensure his safety from any guards or creatures that may descend upon him, but she was also on the ground to extract him from the River Nile so that she could hand him over to the Pharaoh’s daughter, who adopted him and named him Moses, a name which means “he that was extracted from the water.”
As such, one can see how it may be important to come across this well. Not only is it named after the sister of Moses, but it is believed that this well was a miraculous water source for the Israelites when they were wandering around in the desert as they searched for the promised land.
Apparently, not only did the well serve as an embodiment of Miriam’s righteousness, it served as a beacon of hope for these people who were just searching for a new home in this hostile world. Indeed, when it disappeared following the death of Miriam, it seemed to signify a profound spiritual void in the people of Israel at that time.
If it is true that the well may have resurfaced in the Sea of Galilee, it may prove to be the divine providence that some may need. If Josh could actually make his way to this well, he could have discovered the well that sustained the Israelites during their 40-year journey in the desert.
Just as she ensured the safety of her brother as he made his way to the Pharaoh’s daughter in the Nile, she also seemed to sustain the people of Israel with this mysterious well, thereby marking her as one who seemed to have a connection with water.
As such, the discovery of this well could truly be an event of utmost spiritual and historical significance. In fact, the discovery of Miriam’s well could be a discovery that may blur the lines between myth and history. Now we may be able to confirm some doubts that one may have had with their faith.
Someone who experienced a similar dip in faith was Moses himself. You see, when Miriam’s well disappeared following her death, the Israelites found that they were in dire straits as they struggled to find a reliable source of water while they wandered around in the desert.
In order to make sure his chosen people didn’t succumb to thirst and exposure in the desert, God instructed Moses to draw water from a rock by merely speaking to it. As you can imagine, this was a display of divine might, which showed that the God of Israel is truly the Alpha and Omega of this world that we find ourselves in.
Maybe the hope was that, if the people saw this display of God’s might, they may experience a rejuvenation of faith. Unfortunately, it looked as though Moses had other plans running through his mind. For some reason, be it exhaustion, pressure, or even anger, Moses decided to strike the rock instead.
That was very unwise because his actions incurred the wrath of God, who saw this as a failure to honor God’s sanctity to his chosen people. As a result, God promptly told Moses that he would not be leading his people into the promised land.
Some believe that the surprising actions of Moses must have been as a result of a lapse in faith. Others were certain that this was a way for Moses and his older brother Aaron to claim the miracle as their own.
That’s nuts, right? Why would they do that? To another school of thought, it made more sense that this was an act of anger by Moses.
Although we may not be able to deduce the motives that Moses had when he did such a shocking thing, we are certain that this teaches us a lot about leadership, faith, and the consequences of not adhering to the instructions of God, even if they were under emotional strain or pressure.
Well, our faith is that we may find this well in the Sea of Galilee. To be honest, the Sea of Galilee has been a body of water that has been closely monitored by those fascinated by it for a long period of time.
That said, we are mostly concerned with a structure that may have a connection with the biblical events that took place in the book of Exodus. This discovery of the structure was achieved thanks to the use of a sonar survey that was carried out in the area back in 2003.
This structure seems to be a huge cone-shaped pile of basalt stones and boulders that are located about half a mile towards the northwestern region of the lake’s edges. Once one looks at the massive structure, one would see that it looked too organized for it not to be something that was put together by humans.
For example, look at these basalt stones that were found on the structure. With one quick glance, one can tell that these were the stones that were used for construction during ancient times, because these stones were known for their strength and for the fact that they could be found when one heads to volcanic areas that can usually be found in the area thanks to the geographical activities that occur in the Great Rift Valley.
This shows that there must have been some effort to put this structure together, as someone had to gather these rocks to compile it. Secondly, an examination of the structure revealed that it may have been older than it looked. In fact, it looked like it was several thousand years old. Some even believed that it could date back to the Bronze Age. One can believe such a claim thanks to its proximity to Bethesda, one of the most historically and archaeologically significant cities that thrived during the Bronze Age.
As a result, the experts in the field began to ponder on what this structure must have been used for. Some claim that it may have been used for anything ranging from being a ceremonial platform to being on the ground to be used as a ceremonial site. Either way, the fact that it seemed to be so well put together tells us that it meant a lot to the people that made use of it.
There are others who claim that it must have been used as a water storage device or facility, while others felt that it must have been part of a defense system of some sort. Then there are some that claim that the structure looked as though it aligned with celestial bodies or seasonal shifts. As such, it may add credence to the claims that this place was used for astronomical observations or religious ceremonies.
As fascinating as this may be, it may not be as captivating as the belief that Miriam’s well actually followed the people of Israel as they tried to make their way through the desert so that they could finally settle in the promised land.
Although we cannot say that we know where the well ended up following the arrival of the Israelites in the promised land, we may be able to find some clues in the legends that surround its disappearance. That is why it is so important to prove that the Sea of Galilee is not the final resting place of Moses.
