2025 is going to be a lot better I feel like we’ve been saying that a lot I did have some questions coming in about why we stopped the Reddit reviews yeah I’m going to lose weight in 2025 so you know suck that chill a little bit someone posted that and I said yeah this year you know who actually texted me last night at 1:00 a.m. but in ending this last podcast episode of the year I figured it would be good to take a look back think about the good things that happened to us in 2024 hey y’all welcome to meet the MC bees today we’re going to be diving into the year of 2024 all of the challenges it brought and what we’re looking forward to most in 2025 little bit of a year-end recap before we hit the New Year it’s December 31st today we’re excited about 2025 and what it has to bring so settle up let’s get down and dirty with it the very last day of the year I’m ready for a new year I mean there was really good moments this year but it’s time to the good moments were few and far between this year time to move on 2025 is going to be a lot better we are looking forward to a much brighter 2025 but I feel like we’ve been saying that a lot for we’ve been saying that a lot but God I’m telling you it’s gonna happen now 2025 is a year it couldn’t get any worse no it’s it’s gonna but 2025 it’s going to be like the opposite and it’s going to be the best year I hope so there’s a lot we got we got a lot of things coming that’s a positive spin getting through a lot of things handling a lot of things and we’re going to be we’re going to be set on the other side we’re getting I mean we’re we’re waking up every day we’re working we’re grinding and hey we got for a while I think we’re ready for some things to fall in place more than ready more than ready but it’s is going to be better yeah but in ending this last podcast episode of the year I figured it would be good to take a look back think about the good things that happened to us in 2024 yep we’re going to have to really search I won’t yeah you had some good things here just recently yeah I’m G to have to look deep down in my phone and find like a freaking package arrived on time and that’s going to be my highlight of 202 what was it four days ago now five you killed your deer yeah killed a good deer yeah that is very true had a good hunt that’s a good start he was a good he was a stud yeah yeah all right 2024 I feel like I already know this answer what is your favorite moment from 20 I me this crazy the day you know my daughter was born it was on my birthday too that wild that pretty cool you know being like what’s the odds that like how many people you know that was born on their dad’s birthday you know that is pretty your birthday is forever ruined because it’s always going to be because I haven’t got any birthday like I haven’t got a birthday party in since I was probably like 16 you know like because it’s so close to Christmas yeah and like no we don’t even do anything for our birthday like you know I’m old enough now and I kind of so but now I get a birthday party for every day for at least like 18 more years you know that is true that is true I get cake every year I yeah yeah I mean I’m only going to buy presents from Blair or for Blair from here on out I mean my presents are probably not going to be as many yeah they’re probably all going to go to Blair but that’s fine all right let’s see here what is the toughest challenge that you overcame in 2024 toughest challenge I overcame I mean I would have to say I know this is like kind of the same subject but you know being a parent pretty tough you know first few weeks Casey’s done a lot of I was say you slept every single night like a baby I’ve been up since 5 this morning I’m I’ve been up since 3 okay well you probably went to bed at 8: last night no I didn’t go to sleep actually till like 1:00 a.m. well that’s you got issues that’s your fault stress man 2024 you got issues but no I I mean yeah it’s been actually yeah Casey does most of it so what was my toughest challenge this year that’s a hard question just hit me with what’s yours do you know yours um I I can’t say that I overcame any challenges I’m still in the thick of the challenge I was going to say what did I overcome here I was looking today um there was a Instagram story from someone and I responded to it and I I swear to God I’m usually not this pessimistic 2024 has bent us over a barrel in every way possible 2024 was a year of good buys quiet growth and lessons I didn’t ask for but here I am breathing standing moving forward someone posted that and I said yeah [ __ ] this year yeah I mean I think out of every like situation though you got to look at you know the good side the good things that come out of every situation mhm I think there’s some you know once we once you get through some of your things you’re going through 2025 is going to be a lot better it should be like it’s going everything from here can only go up I mean that’s so I don’t know I feel like you just got to wake up like it’s a lot harder for you you you have a lot more stress and you deal with it in different ways than I do but like I feel like you just got to try to like you know wake up just take everything and like you know find the good in it glass half full I know yeah like make sure like just try to do everything with a smile on your face I know it sucks you know even when you’re yelling and screaming may we try to laugh it off they yelling at us all the time we try to laugh about it dud it’s been a year I I honestly agree with you though but no you got to you got to like find the good and stuff because it’s just yeah life is hard I mean and no matter what people say like they don’t until you like live in someone’s shoes you know what they’re going through you can’t speak for someone right but life is hard I mean for a lot of people that is very true that is very true and and I do think like you said 2025 we’ve got some damn good things coming down the pipeline um you know we’ve got some exciting things happening over at the meat facility the farm side we’re shrinking the farm thank God like the rad crop side is shrinking big time which has been long overdue yep so and then we’re going to start focusing on more profitable Industries like the car washes that are doing really well um we’ve got our last location of the car wash opening up here in January 2025 so there are some good things coming down the pipeline a lot of good things no wonder what people like to say there’s a lot of good things coming and uh you know our us and our family and our dad we’ve all worked you know very hard for these things to come and the people that work for us we have a great team yeah like we have a lot to look forward to and I almost feel like we’re in like a new state of mind now where we’re like 2025 is going to be good going to it’s going to be a great year we’re going to make it’s going to be the best year I’m telling you of our lives right now I like that cuz we’ve never went into this with so much like good change coming yeah you know what I’m saying needed change no this is the first year that everyone is on the exact same page as far as what we’re doing in 2025 like everyone is aware of the game plan aware of what we need to focus on and aware of what changes we need to make and there is no one that’s hesitant or like kicking back against it and that’s the first time I could can say we’ve ever been in that situation I mean we’re going to look back 24 and it’s going to be like yeah we learned a lot like that was some [ __ ] sucks don’t get me wrong but I promise you like we’re gonna we’re going to come out way better than ever before we are in 2025 like 2025 is going to be our year I mean we I don’t know we’ve been putting the work in it’s time for it to be our year and we’ had I know we’ve had some things happen but it’s not like we haven’t lived like yeah we’re getting older things are slow like our social life slowing down a little bit sucks for you because you’re single but yeah no we we lived a good like we’ve had fun like we’ve we’ve lived a good like we’ve had some good years like guess it’s been a rough couple months we’re working through it we’re grinding through it get through it we got I mean doing it I did have some questions coming in about why we stopped the Reddit reviews yeah they got rough honestly the Reddit reviews were really funny because they were just like I mean there were some pretty harsh ones but they were kind of lighthearted and then obviously after November Reddit reviews went downhill really quick and then yeah yeah we’ve just been getting absolutely destroyed so it’s the same haters like if you go look on all these Tik toks it’s people who don’t have a real account like you don’t know who they are which I don’t even care like I it’s literally we talk about it every time it’s the same people that are going to keep hating they have hated for years living in their mother’s basement good to do weighing 400 lb can’t even get up off their couch while they’re playing video games and yeah which I’m going to lose weight in 2025 so you know suck that chill a little bit sorry bud I don’t play video games but I put on some dad weight you know put on some dad weight some sympathy I heard you and Casey have a uh diet starting tomorrow yeah January 1 January 1 we’ve been planning it since you know she’s been pregnant and we’ve been I just kind of got a little Bigg or two and I was hoping but you know we’re good we’re gonna hey new year new you new year new me what uh same what’s your guys’s uh diet and workout plan like what do you guys have planned I mean I’m she can’t work out yet she thinks she can like she can walk on turill cuz she’s fine walking but they told her she’s not supposed to like do anything for six weeks yeah or her8 week checkup or six week checkup one of the two but um yeah I mean I’m going to start just working out every day I think I’m going to do in the morning because I’ve been trying to figure out best time to do it where I can fit into our routine with the baby and it’s definitely going to be easiest in the morning or at lunch if I have enough time to it’s either morning you never have enough time if you wait after the morning that’s what I’ve realized cuz I always thought I prefer to work out in the early afternoon afterno or evening but it never pans out because it doesn’t matter even if you don’t think you have anything scheduled something inevitably will come up and so it’s best to get your workout in first thing in the morning so that way the rest of the day no matter what comes about compell or high water you’ve already got your workout in I agree because I I don’t know like you know after work I got to go home and take care of my kids so yeah so after work’s not OP case she’s got to get some sleep sometime during the day so exactly lunch time’s not an option so I’ll start seeing you at 5:00 a.m. okay well I think I’m I’m start work about 7 mhm is so I’m going to start working out about 6:00 a.m. okay that’s what I was thinking 6 cuz at 5 a.m. is just too early man I can’t do that it’s a little rough but I think I’m going to get there about I’m going to wake up like 5:30 5:45 and get there start working out by 6 okay be done by 7 yeah shower and out by 7:15 okay I’m gonna hold you to it so does that start tomorrow or January 2nd January 1st well tomorrow morning you’re going to be there tomorrow afternoon I’m going to start my workouts and then I’ll start January 2nd in the morning but yeah I don’t tonight I might drink a little bit so I don’t know if I’ll be up what are you doing tonight Jake’s having this little deal at his new house oh really yeah is Jesse going over to it yeah you coming no I’m flying to Charlotte I thought so that’s why I told you about it charlot see Kurt yeah his bar having a deal mhm yep his uh coffee and cocktail lounge they’re having a what’s it called 88 88 that’s right yep it looks cool and all the pict pretty neat have you been there yet I have not it’ll be the first time sweet have to Derek Pike oh say Derek Pike saying what are y’all doing Saturday night what’s he doing Saturday night he wants us all to go out I mean I could probably can you make that work would Casey allow that yeah Mom would come watch her Casey probably go okay maybe or Casey would stay either one where we going City yeah oh Casey might want to stay that’s a long time but I would yeah okay well I’ll follow up I probably need to ask Casey first I was going to say that’s probably something you need to run by before you disagree to it but I know we could get a babysitter if she wanted to okay we just be gone for a while it’ be a long time away from our kid longest time ever yeah but if Mom what if y’all brought Blair down to the city and then Mom watched her down in the city we could mom’s driving up tonight to watch her oh really yeah when we go to Jake oh that’ll be fun yeah because I think it starts I don’t know we were gonna are you gonna make it to midnight yeah I well I was trying to decide if I wanted to stay over there at midnight or go spend midnight with Blair but be sleeping but I’m like it is our first you know new year so I might kind of want so I don’t know I’m either going to head back like 11:50 or just see how drunk I am maybe I shouldn’t be around that that may be a good idea yeah I don’t know I don’t I haven’t actually drink since I’ve been a parent so I’m kind of nervous damn you’re going on three weeks it’s been longer than that it’s not like I’m alol but I’m saying like I haven’t been like it’s like a new feeling when you’re parent cuz you have like this like you like your responsible responsible for so I don’t want I’m definitely not going to get like as drunk as what like I’m probably just going to fill have Jesse or Jake FaceTime me to prove that I’m not cuz I I’m a parent now so I gota be responsible gr up bu proud of you I I don’t think I’ve made it to midnight I’ve made it one time to midnight in the last three years I’m definitely going to make it tonight dude for some reason I’ve had some bad luck on New Year I’ve been sick like three times on New Year in the last probably six years have you yeah where I just was sick as all get out do you remember um three years ago when we were at Jack and Tyler’s house for the New Year’s Eve party and it was a blizzard yeah going back to the farm I left at like 10 p.m. and it was snowing so hard I think I stayed the night at the Murphy’s at night that was a good idea yeah we’re I think we’re supposed to get some weather tonight too man we need some I need to kill another deer Jesse’s struggling he need to kill first are youall GNA go hunting tonight well Jess’s working with dad today so so probably not no and then I don’t really want to I might but I don’t want to kill one Jesse’s bucks before he kills one you know so I’m trying to wait for him but he just is struggling he is he’s riding the struggle bus is what um let’s see what are you most excited for going into the new year like is there any specific thing that you’re looking forward to specific thing like we got plan next [Music] yearh do we have plan do we got anything cool no we need to plan something we do we need to plan a trip we need to go on a I want to go on a beach vacation no why we I hate the beach dude let’s go to Mountain just like a two or three day one M well I mean maybe since yeah I’ll take you down there since you’re single but I want to go to like the mountains you know Montana yeah Wyoming mom got the RV I want to take the RV out there can you drive an RV I’m going to figure it out I’ve got a dude I’ve got a CDL you failed your CDL test you don’t need a CDL drive an RV I know but I’m just saying that that tells me that I’m a better driver than you are I I have drove I promise you I have drove a semi 10 times more than you I just didn’t pass the written portion of it I’ll be driving the RV we need to go up to the Black Hill South Black Hills South Dakota Mount Rushmore be Country USA Crazy Horse we ain’t been there since we were young we were really young I think I was like six mhm that’s what we need to do I’d be down I’d do that all right well let’s get cino’s up that way I think ain’t there are you a gambler I will be we drive by one me see something to do braen is yeah he is top he loves it him and his friends always go like once a week twice a week I lose money easy enough the last thing I need to do is go gamble you’re too emotional I am you get mad D I flip the table I’d be so upset when I go though I when I start getting drunk that’s when it gets bad because I get I start doing stupid stuff I I lose I get mad and I try like doubling down and I lose more try to get it all back it never works yeah I just I’m not I’m actually not a very good Gambler I wouldn’t imagine you were well anything else you got to say to close out the year of 2024 you know for it wasn’t definitely was not the best year the fall sucked EHD hit again that’s a deer disease yeah um we had no weather for hunting this year worst rut I’ve hunted in a long time no late season weather so far the only you know good thing out 2024 was was Blair the best thing in my life so that’s I guess one way to look at it outweighed all of the bad Blair outweighed all the bad I did end up killing one the like best year of my life so it was a good fall i’ call that pretty successful yeah it was a good year I you know what it was a good year but 2025 is going to be a great year that’s right and it’s GNA be a great year for everyone that’s right let’s do it all right y’all happy New Year we’ll
