We had a Halloween party and it was a company Halloween party.
Everyone came up.
Masha showed up.
Yep.
Did she?
Yes.
Remember?
Masha showed up at the party.
It’s a common occurrence that Masha shows up where she’s not supposed to be.
Galina was actually being very mature.
Like, it didn’t phase her.
They were dancing together.
Yeah, it got a little weird.
You don’t remember this, dude?
Do you not remember that?
Yes.
They were like dancing together.
I totally forgot.
She was really trying to play it cool.
Everything was going fine.
They became best friends again.
They were walking around together.
It was really weird.
They were really drunk.
I remember them going around saying, “We’re friends again.”
Then come midnight, I left.
Y’all left.
We all went our separate ways.
What happened was one or two people left and went back to the lodge.
My dad and Masha left and went back to the lodge at the Red Barn.
Generational crash out, though.
Got Casey and Cole in the studio today.
So saddle up and let’s get down and dirty with it.
Alright y’all.
It’s over.
Season two has ended.
Can we get a quick round of applause?
Thank you guys.
Thank you for saddling up and riding with us all season long.
It was one hell of a season.
A lot of ups.
A lot of downs.
That was an interesting season.
There were a lot of downs.
There was a lot of drama this season.
Just drama.
The season was stressful, man.
We talked about it multiple times throughout these podcasts.
Looking back now, I forgot about so many things that happened.
I don’t know if it was me subconsciously blocking it out.
Someone got arrested twice in eight days.
Looking back at it now, it feels like a fever dream.
Like, did that really happen?
Galina was on what we call a generational crash out.
She’s doing much better now.
We had her on the podcast last week.
You can see it on her face.
She’s in a much better spot mentally than she was last October and November.
It was rough.
Everybody has rough moments in life.
Some worse than others.
All in all, what did you think of the season?
I thought it was a good season.
It ended well.
It ended on some highs.
The wedding with Jesse and Ally was great.
Season three could be a lot better.
I feel like it could be happier.
We were all in moods the entire season.
Every single person.
Nobody was mad, just stressed.
We were under a lot of pressure.
It felt like a pressure cooker the entire time.
We had a six million dollar payment due November first.
Then another four or five million due in December.
It wasn’t just six million.
It was closer to ten million by the end of the year.
That was a stressful time.
You guys were pregnant.
Building a new house.
Living in Jesse and Ally’s basement.
That was a tough spot for everyone.
I’m ready for season three.
A breath of fresh air.
New beginnings.
Every season is a new beginning.
There was so much tension during filming.
Not the filming itself, but the environment.
I know I looked miserable on camera.
I was in a bad mood for most of season two.
Things have improved now.
We’re in a much better spot.
We’ve got two beautiful grandbabies.
Blair and Summer.
You guys are in your new house.
Loving it.
I’ve got peace right now.
Things are rocking and rolling.
The meat facility is doing great.
The amount of support we get is overwhelming.
People buy meat and merch just to support the farm.
We appreciate it more than you’ll ever know.
We hope you get to see us continue to grow.
Continue to mature.
Continue to improve.
Season two was a ride.
On to new beginnings.
She told me no.
You guys watched season two.
I do have this question.
If Cole were to ask now,
would you still say no?
I would say yes.
I was only asking once.
If you say no, that’s it.
I ain’t asking twice.
You think he’s come a long way?
Oh yeah.
In the last eight months,
Cole has matured more than he did in his entire 25 years.
He’s a new person.
Guess I should start saving for a ring.
You haven’t already?
You’re going to need about eight to ten months, bud.
I already had some money saved.
I thought I was going on an elk hunt.
We schedule everything during the busiest time of the year.
Every September.
So I might as well just get married.
I agree.
I have two savings accounts.
One for the ring.
One for the elk hunt.
I’ll just combine them.
Maybe the elk hunt is the honeymoon.
We like the mountains more than the beach.
I just wanted to make sure that’s what you wanted.
I don’t like the beach.
Do you do a baby moon for every kid?
Or is that just a first child thing?
I never heard of a baby moon until last year.
Ours was only two days.
I get crap for leaving harvest for a baby moon.
But then we had to go to Nashville as a business trip.
We actually made some good seasonings.
They were really good.
The problem was the minimum order.
Five thousand bottles per flavor.
At about ten dollars per bottle.
That’s fifty thousand dollars.
Five flavors would be two hundred fifty thousand dollars.
That’s a lot of seasoning.
So seasonings may be coming.
We just need a different manufacturer.
Jesse and Ally’s wedding was a great way to end it.
I was excited to officiate.
The wedding planner was very strict.
Down to the minute.
My dad asked to add fifteen people the day before.
She was not happy.
There’s always a solution to every problem.
That’s how we live our lives.
We’re getting married on the farm.
Best views you can ask for.
We’ll party all night long.
Good food.
Not fancy stuff.
A mechanical bull.
Keep the bar open till 2 a.m.
Wedding venues kick you out at 11.
I’ll never pay for that.
It won’t be on social media.
Blair will be walking by then.
She’ll be the flower girl.
She’s almost walking now.
She’s wild.
She was up every hour last night.
She’s a FOMO baby.
Fear of missing out.
I didn’t even know what FOMO meant.
I don’t understand how people comment hate online.
Cole gets a hate message every morning.
Same guy.
Every single day.
“Good morning, fat boy.”
It’s kind of impressive.
Almost respected.
Galina was crashing out in season two.
She got arrested the night of the wedding.
She wanted that wedding invite so bad.
It became a competition.
Security had photos of who was allowed in.
Then the St. Joe car wash incident.
Two hundred people were there.
Worst timing possible.
It was embarrassing.
Unprofessional.
Then they went to dinner.
Masha was already there.
Galina left instead.
That was growth.
Later that night,
Galina crashed the car.
She totaled it a mile from the venue.
Everyone knew.
The wedding itself was still incredible.
Then there was the Halloween party.
Masha showed up again.
Galina played it cool.
They danced together.
It got weird.
After midnight,
they went back to the lodge.
That led to another crash out.
Police reports came out.
Fresh insults.
Same two words every time.
Season two was a pressure cooker.
But things are better now.
On to new beginnings.
Hopefully another season.
Thank you for supporting our family,
our farm,
our business.
We’re just normal Midwest people.
You’ll see us at Dollar General in sweats.
We’re not famous.
We’re not rich.
And that’s okay.
Season three is coming.
Hopefully.
Thank you guys.
We appreciate you.
We’ll see you next week
on Meet the McB’s.
