Shocking Truth !! Very Sad ! American Pickers' Danielle Colby Drops Breaking News!! It Will Shock U!
Danielle Colby of American Pickers goes on the attack on Instagram after a burlesque video was taken down for solicitation.
Hello everyone, my name is Alana B. Welcome back to another video! Mike Wolfe and their now former co-star Frank Fritz have always benefited from the fun and wisdom of Danielle Colby, star of American Pickers. Her charm and intelligence remain the same offscreen. However, followers of HBY on social media, Patreon, and/or on Lifein are aware that she enjoys flaunting her body positivity, to put it mildly.
The TV veteran understands how to grab viewers’ attention with her provocative positions in vibrant pictures, seductive dances, and videos. She regrettably caught the attention of Instagram’s content manager, and Colby wasted no words in criticizing the platform for purportedly deleting one of her videos and flagging her for sex.
Danielle Colby has always loved burlesque dancing as a means of expressing her sexuality and agility, which makes perfect sense given her eye for all things old and retro. Even though she has previously posted videos of these kinds of acts on Instagram, it seems that a Halloween 2021 video was removed from the platform due to violations of its community guidelines.
Colby then took harsh shots at Instagram. She said, “I swear, something happens every day after seeing this 10-second movie. I was reported for solicitation. JFC, this is a little snippet of a Halloween burlesque performance I performed. This video dates back to October. It’s almost April, it’s March now. Since my underwear isn’t attached like a bra, why is the video in question of me in a burlesque costume the same size as a bikini? Okay, on Facebook and Instagram, is that the issue?”
Regardless of whether the content is intended for a sexual audience or not, Danielle Colby is by no means the first person—especially one who identifies as female—to angrily suggest that Instagram has unfairly applied different rules regarding what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable partial nudity and similar content. Would she never have been reported if she had been caught in the video wearing a regular bikini?
However, the American Pickers actress had more queries, so she went on to ask: “Is it true that I told my followers they could discover the full-length video, which I’m not allowed to post here, on another website? Or is it only a result of the aggressive monitoring of overweight, femme, and queer bodies, particularly those of color, and especially those involved in or connected to sex work?”
“For a great many individuals, this is the only way they can afford daycare, pay their mortgages, purchase life-saving drugs, or simply have the money they require to live the kind of life they choose. It is imperative that the abuse of sex workers and those in close proximity to them cease. This includes in all conceivable contexts: legal, financial, spiritual, physical, emotional, and otherwise.”
For what it’s worth, rather than just whining about her own video being squashed, Danielle K’s posts last section discusses how Instagram’s policies impact a large segment of the sex industry and other people who depend on the platform for advertising. The fact that the October video is only now being identified undoubtedly speaks to the enormous volume of posts being spot-checked. But if it went unnoticed until now, it might be seen as, at best, random, given that Colby’s Instagram profile has other images and videos that are arguably more unlawful than anything with a burlesque theme.
Given that it went that long without receiving any complaints, presumably, as can be seen below, fans can still locate her post with a 30-second video preview from the same performance, even though the 10-second clip may have been removed. Though it’s unclear if this will lead to anything more, you can guarantee that Danielle Colby will continue to promote her other projects on social media no matter what gets leaked in the interim.
She’s also willing to cross-promote Memphis Colby, her daughter, on Lifein, where her profile is extremely profitable. She’ll probably promote the new episodes of American Pickers when they return to History.
Away from burlesque and Instagram histories, American Pickers—Danielle Colby and co—is presently on pause for season 23, with the most recent season having premiered in January. Frank Fritz, a former star who had previously taken a sabbatical from filming for what were believed to be medical reasons, was not involved in the production of this season.
After that, things became quite chaotic when it was announced that Fritz would not be making a comeback to the show at all. Mike Wolfe claimed that Fritz’s previous co-star had pushed too far into his pain management regimen, which led to problems.
Your everyday compilation of news about entertainment: Colby supported that theory with her own remarks following Fritz’s confirmed departure. Nonetheless, Fritz first stated that he was sober and in better condition following his 65-pound weight loss. The move evidently upset Fritz, and fans have been waiting to see if anything more occurs there, despite any alleged niceties that Wolfe shared in the aftermath.
For the time being, all I can say is probably don’t expect to see Fritz in any Lifein videos or burlesque performances by Danielle Colby.
