The American Pickers cast is doing everything except filming their new season.

Lily Elizabeth works for Collider as a reality TV features writer.
Since her first day at Collider last year, she has covered every kind of reality TV.
Big Brother ignited her fascination in reality TV in high school, and she has carried it into adulthood.
She enjoys spending her free time with her cat, Tabitha, and a glass of iced tea.
She is always writing, reading, and of course watching reality TV.
The cast has been working on other projects while fans await American Pickers season 27.
Since their break from filming is rapidly coming, it appears like the American Pickers ensemble will be fine during their time off.
Each member of the show has their own passion projects for more than 10 years.
American Pickers has been broadcast on the History Channel.
The reality show initially featured Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe.
As they journeyed around the nation in pursuit of vintage treasures, after leaving the show, Frank died with Mike by his side.
In place of Frank, other members of the guest cast have volunteered to assist in hosting American Pickers.
Following the dedication of season 27 to Frank, the show will take a hiatus from production.
The actors are following their own interests and economic endeavors in the interim.
Mike has pursued more new interests than any other member of the cast.
In interviews since Frank’s death and his own 60th birthday, Mike has discussed his evolving life.
He has been able to take more possibilities since he came to terms with American Pickers’ sabbatical alongside his girlfriend, Leticia Cline.
He recently starred in Day of Reckoning.
He has also been spending time with his daughter.
In addition to renovating his house and decorating a short-term rental, Mike recently requested assistance in bringing tourists back to his community.
Mike has kept running his Antique Archaeology store in Iowa, even after liquidating the Nashville location and getting complaints about the prices.
Danielle Colby, a former office manager who is now a picker, has some intriguing pastimes of her own.
In addition to becoming an antique hunter on American Pickers, Danielle has a special passion.
She performs in a burlesque show as the Queen of Rust.
Prior to her appearance on American Pickers, Danielle became aware of the art form.
She chose to start a museum devoted to the nude arts after falling in love with burlesque.
The Ecdysiast Museum is Danielle’s most recent business endeavor.
The term ecdysiast refers to anyone who participates in the nude arts, including burlesque.
By contributing to her museum, she blends Danielle’s passion for burlesque with her hunting prowess.
Mike supported Danielle’s quest.
It’s obvious that Danielle will be free to pursue her passions for burlesque and antique hunting wherever American Pickers ends up, despite not being a main cast member from the start.
Jon “Jersey Jon” Szalay has grown to be a fan favorite.
Jon filled in for Fritz after he left American Pickers.
Mike and Jon were able to connect since Jon had been an expert on motorcycles for years.
In addition to mechanics, Jon developed a passion for woodworking early on, which helped him on American Pickers.
Even while Jon doesn’t appear to be pursuing new ventures like Mike and Danielle, he has remained occupied.
Jon has been restoring vintage motorcycles as the filming of season 27 draws to a conclusion and the break draws near, in his family and on American Pickers.
Mike Wolfe is not the only antique hunter.
Robbie Wolfe, Mike’s younger brother, has emerged as a major figure on American Pickers in recent years.
At a very young age, Mike and Robbie developed a passion for searching for treasures that lasted into adulthood.
Robbie is taking care of a store in Iowa, close to Mike’s store.
Despite operating separate businesses, Robbie is clearly contributing to the family business by bringing antique hunting into the fold.
The cast’s life revolve around American Pickers, yet it’s not their sole pursuit.
While Jon, Robbie, and Danielle all continue their careers, Mike has the most recent endeavors.
Every team member has distinct interests, and we’re eager to see what the Pickers will do next.
Where’s the show?
What’s going on?
Why are the stars of American Pickers everywhere but on the road?
Fans have questions, and the answers are more shocking than anyone expected.
For over a decade, American Pickers has been a staple on the History Channel, with fans tuning in to watch Mike Wolfe and the team uncover forgotten treasures in dusty barns and cluttered garages across America.
But as the newest season still hasn’t hit production, diehard viewers are starting to notice something strange.
From vintage motorcycle shows to fashion events to cryptic Instagram posts from remote cabins, the familiar faces of American Pickers seem to be everywhere except on set.
Mike Wolfe hasn’t posted anything about filming in months.
Instead, he’s been sharing serene photos from mountain cabins, vintage motorcycle rallies, and early morning hikes with his dog.
His captions are cryptic.
“Sometimes you have to step away to remember why you started.”
“No picking, just peace.”
Is this a burnout break, or is Mike quietly stepping back from the show for good?
Sources close to the production suggest that Mike has been feeling creatively drained and frustrated with the direction of the series.
According to one insider, Mike has been doing this for 20 plus seasons.
He loves picking, but the show has become repetitive.
Fan favorite Danielle Colby, often the glue holding the show together from the office, has also been noticeably absent from all things Pickers.
Instead, she’s been touring internationally with her burlesque troupe and focusing on her art.
In a recent post, Danielle wrote, “I’m finally doing what fuels my soul. Picking was fun, but this is freedom.”
That’s a far cry from, “See you next season.”
Her Instagram stories are filled with vintage fashion, glitter, and glamorous behind-the-scenes footage from performances, but not a single word about the show.
Mike’s brother, Robbie, who took over co-hosting duties after Frank Fritz’s controversial departure, is now focused on expanding his real estate and landscaping business in Iowa.
Just last week, he posted photos
